For those who watch or read Detective School Q/ Tantei Gakuen Q

Post by meitantei_mayu »

For these past few days, I've been curious... does Kyu and Co. go to school. I mean, not the Detective Academy. I meant that if they still go to normal junior/high school. Kazuma seems to go to a normal elementary school. (I don't remember what episode it is though.)

It is kind of hard to juggle both their academics and their detective studies (not to mention, actual cases they are involved in.) Well, anyways... that's my questions. It's been haunting me for a while. Thanks for the replies.

Yah Kazuma is still studying in another school other than DDS... Kinta is working part time so I don't think he has time for another course. Don't know about Kyu and Meg but Ryu probably has a private tutor or something like that cause he can afford that kind of set up...

Hehe...I'm been thinking about this for a few days. It suddenly pop up in my head one day. ^^

By the look of things, I think it is not possible to find time to study in another school and at the same time, solving cases and studying to be a detective.

Feel free to add some more thoughts about this. I love to hear your ideas regarding these. But other than that, Thanks for inputting your thoughts,CoolKid3.

Well, the fact that you couldn't study in a regular school at the same time, isn't it the matter that worrie the mother of Kyu? It's been a long time since i watched it, but the issue at the very beggining to kyu enter the detective school was it, not?

It doesn't really matter if they are also studying in a regular school or not cause if they will pursue being a detective then DDS is the right place to be... However, this may only be applicable to Kyu...

I think Kinta should take a course that would lead him to be in the police force (like father like son).

Kazuma, among the members of the Q class, is the one that should finish a separate degree so that he can enhance his skills and knowledge about Info Tech (IT).

On the other hand, Ryu being tagged as the successor in the Pluto Org. really need not go to a regular school... Secrets of the trade shall be thought by notorious and high-ranking members of the Pluto Org.

I can't think of any other possibility for Meg ATM... Hehe... Probably because I'm male and I don't know how girls think...

Well, that's just my speculation...

I think DDS is a vocational school just like for many other job based schools, that has been my experience with it since I started working on the manga.

I only watched the drama... (I kinda gave up trying to watch the anime after like... 5 episodes because it just wasn't exiting enough, and the only part I liked about it was the beginning of the entrance exams where one of the teachers is dressed up as a cactus...)

So who do you recommend grabbing episodes 1 and 2 from?

Live-evil is the only one who has been properly releasing the other groups translations so. also they did do the whole anime and a special dvd extra on how DAQ was made. the link for episodes 1 and 2 are underneath the torrent for episode 3
