We all know Shinichi wants to be a P.I to be like Sherlock Holmes,
But what about Heiji ? And does he want to become a Private eye or a police detective like his dad ? I also noted he isn't a crime novel/mystery freak like Shinichi...

Because he has the passion for it and it gives him fame, he gets to be on the news all the time, latest being the Nue case.

Also, Heiji likes to read Ellery Queen and the novels from Kaoru Shinmei, so he's a fan of mystery fiction to some degree.
