Why are the balls labeled out in the service box? Unless she's serving to the wrong side on purpose, which wouldn't make sense because the crowd would see that she's doing it on purpose.

Also, I know it's a manga, but it's impossible to hit lets on purpose and have the ball land in the right spot consistently.

Maybe the development meant by Gosho has something to do with Conan becoming popular or something? Anyway, was there really an explanation that the "development" itself will be about ShinRan? (please correct me if I'm wrong) If judging from the daring action that Conan did, wouldn't it be possible that somehow... maybe Conan will be known as "Holmes' Apprentice" by the WORLD? I mean, this is Wimbledon, right? And also the hints that this European arc will continue to France (Tour de France)? I said that the New York arc was cooler because the setting was not somehow awkward and "improbable" like London arc... the "color" was more gloomy, and Sharon' words and other things... but after all, this London arc is interesting enough. Especially the references to Holmes.

I may be stating the obvious, but Conan's plan has a leak. He doesn't know Hades overheard the conversation between Juno and Apollo about "Holmes' Apprentice" being on the case. If Conan acts under the assumption that Hades will not suspect a thing since he is a kid, Hades may realize what Conan is up to and spring the trap. Anyone present at the scene outside of Meissen porcelain above may realize belatedly that the raincoat figure was listening in and try to warn Conan, but it would be more interesting if Conan's plan went awry and he has to run damage control. Maybe Minerva can knock out Hades with a well placed serve if Conan figures out who he is.

Also, a half-nickel bet that mystery lady is at the match.

I actually think they will turn it all to japanese aside from some sentences here and there. I mean, do you really believe the japanese audience is ready to watch an anime in subs? heh anime with subtitles, what a ridiculous idea.........................................................................wait.......

Then again, Hades may not take his [Conan's] word seriously. He may blow it off as a kid (possibly) trying to give Minerva support (by mentioning her idol...??). People in Detective Conan never seem to really take kids seriously (save for a few officers-Megure and the other Beika officer). Who knows

No so. Ran mother At least two or three Home Detectives maybe four,and at least three of four out of town Detectives. THis was showned by getting Conan to where the questioning happened in the Red Wall Case.

lol, like some others, the teddy bear also immediately screamed BOMBBOMBBOMB to me... but i'm not sure if it's pure intuition or paranoia thanks to all the anti-terrorism campaigns thats been going around these few years.

i also thought 749 ended pretty abruptly with nothing much happening... unless i missed the bigger implications of the file? like the panel where Ran asked Conan to protect Minerva + where the following panel with Shinichi's face in Conan's bg. Does that imply that Ran knows, almost for certain, that Conan = Shinichi?? Plus Conan shouting out that he's Holmes' Apprentice... as someone else pointed out, this was broadcast on Wimbledon, which is pretty international. if, on top of that, Conan is later shown to help catch the culprit, isn't that drawing too much attention to himself? (on the bright side, BO plot development = good, heh heh)

i also started guessing that MAYBE diana is Vermouth. she may have lured Conan intentionally halfway across the globe to talk to him/pass him a message/etc, since she kinda wants him to take down the BO? or take him to meet someone who can help him take down the BO?? i guess this theory is a little far fetched though, since Vermouth is now under closer supervision of the Boss. but, just a guess

am also guessing that even though Agasa/Kogoro/Ran is not with Conan, he's going to get a bit of help from Ares to protect Minerva, who will then feel that he has redeemed himself, and not feel so guilty any more about being involved in Minerva's father's death, and go back to Minerva, and suddenly Love is no longer 0. /soppy love ending

No matter how smart Conan is, in the eyes of the adults (expect Agasa) he´s a small child, so instead of agreeing with him they should stop him and he had to find another way to get in somehow.

That's exactly what I thought when I read it... they don't know Hades was watching them... and really, how does Conan plan to find out who Hades is? this all is a bit stranger than usual...

To me the stupid thing with the lets was way worse then letting a kid in instead of Kogoro or Agasa. But it would be hilarious if they did because they know.
