I bet BO case is still further away since the plot is not in climax yet. Back to Vol 42, Jodie, Akai or BO member Vermouth appeared in 4 cases continuously before the confrontation between FBI and BO begin. And before File 595, thinking about Eisuke and Rena's relationship is continuously appeared in 4 cases too (from File 582 onwards). So we can only wait for Okiya's suspicion appeared in more than 3 cases continuously before BO case coming, about nearly between File 780 to File 800.

Before that, Chiba's love still need to solve, I suspect the next confrontation against BO will be the final confrontation  and the ending is near since Rena's CIA identification cannot hide anymore. At least we can confirm that Okiya Subaru is not Vermouth (confirmed in File 704) and not Yusaku.

Yes, FBI!  That's what the next case should be, in my opinion.  Especially since the FBI is usually (if not always) involved in BO cases...

I actually never found it that difficult to tell when Conan switches his speech... Maybe it's because English is my first (and only fluent) language, so I'm so used to it XD It's maybe a bit more obvious in the official translations, since they're either able to or willing to misspell things (one of the best examples is when Conan knocks Heiji out and is trying to speak like him; Heiji already speaks weird, and then Conan just overdoes everything XD )

Agreed. It will happen sooner or later but probably before the 800th chapter. I think now we will have this Chiba case, tehn the usual Kaito Kid case (meh), then a Kogoro case... Would it be funny if I were right? Or just sad? XD

Well, while this wasn't the "Detective Boys saving Conan and Haibara on their own" I was hoping for it turned out okay. They did well figuring out what Conan wanted to tell them. So while they would have to share the honor of solving the situation with Conan (who was doing the strategy, while the DB had to understand and execute it) they finally had a huge part in solving a case again.

Too bad Okiya had to turn up at the last moment to steal the credits from them...
Well, there will always be a next time. Because I doubt the storyline will progress any time soon.

Actually, I highly doubt anything will be "resolved" anytime soon with any of the love arcs. SatouxTakagi, HeijixKazuha, ShinichixRan... ALL of them have been going on since like volume 15 or earlier, and none of them have confessed anything 9_9

Have you not been paying attention?  Satou and Takagi have already kissed, which is the kind of confession you'll get from adults.  Shinichi confessed to Ran in the previous case.  Shiratori already told Kobayashi that she's his girl of destiny, and she understands that now.  Really, the only "old" love story not resolved in some manner is Heiji x Kazuha.  I don't count Kogorou x Eri, since they obviously love each other, are married and had a kid, both know it, but are both stubborn tsunderes and exist separately to provide comic relief cases.
