Sera is revealed to be a new girl  in Ran and Sonoko's class in file 770
A female detective... All we've had before were male high school detectives, so this will be interesting.
What do you think?

Will she be a new rival to Shinichi? Conan took the risk of 'receiving' a call from Kudo Shinichi, and it seems like Sera picked up then name. Silly Conan. All she has to do now is Google his name and she'll get a picture of him. ~Why are they so alike?~

Well, Sera being Bourbon was never a serious option.
I like how she played Conan, first she "fails" to solve the case and then she blatantly calls him out  "of course you're not here" with Conan and his phone standing right next to her. So she basically knows who Conan is imho. The question is: How is she going to use this information?

She obviously has figured out Conan's identity or will figure it out very soon. I assume she'll be related to the plot somehow, but not BO. The possibility of her being Bourbon is intriguing, but she's not the right height. Also, wrong code name, since women usually have code names based on wines.

Knowing Sera is a girl was not the big surprise for me, I am still confused about Conan's reactions in 769, they still do not make any sense, I mean how was not trying to be childish or pretend, something is just not right here,I can't fit the pieces

It seems like he doesn't care if Sera finds out his identity. But how would he know he can trust her? We don't even know if she likes Holmes!

Sera is actually Shinichi's and Ran's daughter from the future who travelled back in time to help her parents defeat the B.O.

Sera is Shinichi's lost twin sister
Sera is Shinichi's cousin
Sera is related to Haibara
Sera is Vermouth's daughter
Sera is a normal character and will have nothing to do with the plot (yeah, I know. That's even less possible than the daughter from the future thing)

Why is it that I can totally imagine Yusaku and Yukiko having another child and never telling Shinichi about it? I bet she grew up in Hawai'i!

About time we get a female Shinichi and she´s even faster in solving the *Who is Conan in truth* then Hattori. XD
I loved how she forced him to call *Shinichi-niichan* to check her theory or when she called out for him if the wheelchair is at the right place. XDDD

She´s cute, guess in the up-coming chapters we might get some SeraxRan or SeraxShinichi fans.

The male being the brains while the female is strong is as usually as the other way around.^^;
Just think of Q.E.D. or another example Gunslinger Girl or Black Lagoon and so on.
So realising that Gosho use one of the most common things in manga history aka male=brain and woman=strong is nothing to be surprised about, guys; especially after 770 chapters.

That Sera is both isn´t unusally as well just to avoid future surprise.

I don't think that Shinichis parents would hold a sister secret from him.
It would completey make no sense, everything that happened all connections between the characters are making sense until now and I don't believe that Gosho will screw this up with a secret sister or anything.
We don't know anything about Shinichis Family neither his Uncle or Aunt.

Are you sure it was commented "a while ago"? Didn't the "Detective competition" already cover the north and south detectives?

Just because one's in prison and the other dead doesn't mean they have to be replaced.

Oh, and Sera was obviously suspicious before that and just wanted him to make such a stupid mistake. And can it be a coincidence that she joins Shinichi's class? I think not.
