Who would want an Ipad with joysticks anyway?

That's sort of like saying "who would want an iphone with buttons anyway" referring to a gameboy/PSP or something. Just because something has a big screen doesn't mean it shares any similarities to iphones/ipads beyond that. :P

because Nintendo is competing with Apple?

I hope they crush them like...well...an apple. Just for Apple's fans alone. Worse than COD, Sonic and Final Fantasy fanboys. Combined.

wow, never saw this before, this makes me feel a lot better about my decision to sell my wii, since I'm gonna try and get a Wii U at launch (i know that everyone pretty much knew it already, it's just nice to have confirmation, ya know?)

Also, as the days go by, i'm getting more and more hyped about this system

I would be more hyped if I thought it was going to have half the creative games as Wii. But none of those games that were actually creative and good sold so it won't, and I am sad.

The U stands for Ubisoft, which is currently Nintendo's savior in terms of actual relevent content (random 360 ports and Not Another New Super Mario Bros. will be popular, not relevent. Kinda like wrestling.) Sadly Project P-100 will likely not be relevent OR popular, and I feel bad for Platinum Games.

I'm currently interested in 0 wii u launch titles, but i'll resist complaining too much since I suppose they could announce something else, am excited for Dragon Quest X though, i'll probably just have to raid the gamecube section of the virtual console when it launches : V

The Wii U Basic Set includes a white Wii U console with 8 GB of internal storage, one white GamePad controller, AC adapters for both the console and controller, a sensor bar and an HDMI® cable. In the Wii U Deluxe Set, components are black. This bundle includes all elements from the Basic Set, as well as the Nintendo Land game, increased console storage capacity of 32 GB, a console stand, GamePad charging cradle and a stand that allows users to place the GamePad vertically on a table. Consumers who purchase the Deluxe Set also will be enrolled in the Deluxe Digital Promotion, which lets Wii U owners receive points for each digital download and redeem those points for future downloadable content from the Nintendo eShop. The promotion is currently planned through 2014.
Also it launches november 18th in north america

A console in 2012 with a launch that has games anyone cares about. A tons of must-have games (and not just the ports of games either) within like 6 months. BAYONETTA 2. EXCLUSIVE.

Oh thank god Nintendo. I thought after E3 they had forgotten how to get people hyped. I was dead wrong. They nailed it. Completely.

Yeah I'm getting the Deluxe version and nothing else this holiday season apparently. Sorry Paper Mario.

Also I guessed November 18th I swear the moment the console was shown at E3. "November 18th 2012" and I was right. November 18th must be some special day for Nintendo as they love releasing big games and consoles on that day.

kkslider5552000 wrote: That being said, Nintendo Land not being a pack-in game is throwing away future money for nearly every Nintendo sequel that will appear on the console. Shame they didn't realize the brilliance of making all of their series relevent to every single person who gets the console, but hey ZombiU looks cooler so...
That's what I don't get, if Nintendoland is the game that "makes you understand wii u" why wouldn't you throw it into every console without question? I guess they're trying to get people to buy the deluxe package, which honestly is a fantastic deal

also i'm shocked that they included an hdmi cable, most people don't do that, of course now i feel dumb for buying another one, but whatever

I honestly deleted that because I somehow missed it being in the Deluxe version. That and the ZombiU version confused me on what was a pack-in game for anything.

It still should be in every single system though.
