Agreed, it was terrible : "I want to continue eating this ramen so I'll just poison the guy who wants this shop to be destroyed." Hum, yeah, sure...junk wrote: Somehow I think the motive is just lame. I thought the culprit had some grudge against the real estate president.

"I wonder if there really is a God...
If such an entity really existed, wouldn't all honest, hard-working people be happy?"

Hmm. I liked it. I'm so tired of those clichéd motives we've seen on Conan over the years. Somehow, I just like this messed up culprit - he loves the ramen but he couldn't confront the shop owner about renovation even if he's holding a grudge over thatWakarimashita wrote:Agreed, it was terrible : "I want to continue eating this ramen so I'll just poison the guy who wants this shop to be destroyed." and then he just felt like murdering that persistent land-buying guy and thought, screw it, why not drag the ramen owner down.
Do you guys really think murderers think straight?

Thinking about it, it is nice to have something different for a change, as far as motive goes. It's like the guy was fighting with an inner demon, ya know? He wanted the ramen shop owner to either fix it up or close it down, but at the same time, since he likes the ramen as well as the owner, he couldn't bring himself to just tell him. I guess he was just trying to kill two birds with one stone without feeling too guilty over the outcome since nobody liked the real estate guy anyway.

Agreed. I'm so sick of either revenge motives or relationships-gone-bad =_=ssjup81 wrote:Thinking about it, it is nice to have something different for a change, as far as motive goes.
