So both Camel and Akai were inspired from Char??? Or maybe he meant Lieu. Dren but the publishing house mistranslated it somehow?
Camel's name is definitely from Lieutenant Dren, who is Char's second in command, but Camel's name does not come from Char Aznable himself. The publishing house was probably referring to Dren's relation to Char.
I thought Camel was Arab because of his name (I know some Arabs called Camel)

Hoping for a love triangle btw AkaixAkemixBourbon :x That would be great 'cause Akemi would appear again ^^ I love it when a cameo like her has such an important role. First appeared in vol 2 and died, and then reappeared again and again throughout the story, sometimes just in others' conversation ^^ Love it when Akai looked at Ran crying in the snow and said she reminded him of a foolish girl who always tried to sound casual but cried behind his back ^^ No one knew it was Akemi at that time I guess ^^ And who would think that such a BO girl has a smile which can stop a murderer's desire to kill ^^

^ Just finished watching the Clash of Red and Black episodes, and I have to say that I find the interactions between Jodie-sensei and Agent Camel quite funny and interesting.
Yeah, that was funny for the first woman, at least..

Ah, anyways... Looks like 800 is going to truly be that file. Everyone's going to meet and a big revelation should be ensued. Unless they're all secretly working together... ........ Or knew each other from some prior event.... Hopefully, there's something "Akai" related to all of this too, that'll put some of our theories to rest. >.< It's just too coincidental that these so-called detectives are popping up one after another.

you don't need to have all of them meet. Okiya will probably avoid meeting the others. If he and Amuro are Akai and Bourbon, they will sense each other the moment they meet face to face. So if Gosho wants them to be the 2 rivals, he'll probably avoid the meeting between them. After taking a peak at the chinese scans

I THINK I FINALLY DID IT: I NOTICED A TINY DETAIL~
Spoiler: Observation of a little detail in the Chinese Scans
From anyone who saw the scans, Conan and the woman visited three suspects. Now, when Kogoro, Ran and Amuro are looking at the computer, Ran's speech bubble cleverly blocks out the third robber EXCEPT for a small portion. That portion (I believe) shows the robber holding the gun with her right hand. In other words: she's right-handed. I don't know how Conan would figure it out, so I have no leads in that regard, but I do know that from an audience perspective we can see that the second woman is the one as she is the only right-handed one amongst the three

since it's Conan we are talking about, it's more interesting for him to go with the woman and visit all the suspects. This way he can prevent Serina killing the third robber and hand both to the police
