man, it would be embarrassing for all parties involved if the DBs ended up being the ones to crack the haibs=shiho and conan=shinichi case.

well, Okiya's already cracked it, but he's not gonna go around telling people like the DBs are likely to.

The three suspects having animals' names reminds me the case with the three suspects who were being threatened by the victim's brother in Mouri Agency(ep 648-650, file 771-774). The victim refered them as animals. XD

right, that's what Sato was saying. If someone gets a hold of Shiho's prints vs Ai's, they'll see two people with differently sized hands/prints but with the exact same patterns, which would turn a few heads.

It's referring to the Shiragami case where the boy got plastic surgery to look exactly like Shinichi and then tried to murder the newspaper lady. It was proven that the boy wasn't actually Shinichi because the fingerprints on Heiji's charm did not match the prints on the murder weapon despite Conan's fingerprints being on the charm. ^^

The hand positions are Shadow hand puppets.
According to some pictures of those, it would be the rabbit I guess :V
