Oh, me too... I've been playing a whole bunch of Otome games lately. Want some suggestions for ones where love develops more slowly? I've found a few out for Android devices... haven't really checked for games on other platforms.

OMM: Still too much ouch. ~_~* Did almost nothing at all yesterday because OW. After getting to sleep somewhere after midnight the prior night, I woke up at three-something with too much ow to go back to sleep. Spent most of the day "chilling" with the heating pad against my back. Sunday is supposed to be the day we run our errands. I managed to make it for one errand, and ended up not getting most of the things I'd marked as "I wanna check this out". Sent Archi to the grocery by himself.
Today... still very ouch... and no my head really does NOT need to get in on that! (Rrrrgh.) Doing laundry, though. Sheets are dry and waiting to be folded. Towels are put away, jeans are in the (brand-new) dryer. I'm getting there. It'll probably take me all day (because ow) but I will get the laundry done. Maybe not everything will get folded and put away, but it will at least all be clean. And not left to wrinkle in the basket, except for the sheets and maybe the socks.... I usually fold the socks while I watch Conan, but I'm all caught up on everything I follow at the moment....

Well, I really like Historical games rather than HS stuff... Destined to Love it kinda good. At least the route I'm going on starts with a faint attraction and progresses from there. Then there is Midnight Cinderella from the same game developer but I don't like it that much. Other games I've found are a bit... Either you have to pay to progress to the next chapters or then the plot is ridiculous.
Though then there is Mystic Messenger. It's really good. You interract with all the people there and collect hearts. The continuation of the game depends on the hearts collected by the end of day four.

Ooh, yeah, Mystic Messenger is fun! I'm currently trying to figure out what I missed, since apparently I didn't really unlock the 'secret end' stuffs? I did Yoosung-Zen-Jahee-Jumin-Seven... and I kept trying to tell Archi about it, without a whole lot of sucess... (Well, beyond the basic description "it's sorta like Ever 17 except gender-swapped and without the Blick Winkle thing...") Maybe I should go re-play Yoosung's route to make absolutely sure I got the good end, and not the normal end.... I didn't get any bad ends... well, except for the one I did on purpose, insisting that I couldn't find the lock.
Er... yeah... rambling. ~_~* I'm not all that big on the high-school stories either. I tend to go looking for the ones where the heroine is in her 20s or 30s.... have you tried any of the Voltage games? I know they have a couple historical ones, but I haven't really checked those ones out... My favorite is "Our Two Bedroom Story" (Shusei reminds me of Archi~!). Probably the best way to check out their games is to get the "Sweet Cafe" app, which is free and will let you see all the character profiles and the prolouge chapters (of at least the first season) for each of their games. You can also get free stories there.
Specifically not love-at-first-sight? Two Bedroom has a slower development, "My Last First Kiss" involves childhood friends (the guys you can pick from are kids you've known since elementary school, and you're now twenty-something). A lot of the other games I haven't explored far enough to get a feel for. Although there's a path in "Finally in Love Again" that pairs you up with a boy who's had a crush on you for the past 20 years...

OMM: Still ow. Why won't it go away? I have things that I need to DO! And I need to sleep... tomorrow I don't have plans, except for a Hangout meeting in the morning, but Wednesday I have errands to run and Thursday I have work. Apparently the heating pad isn't helping as much as I'd hoped.... it's also still a little too hot for it to really be comfortable. ~_~*

I'm currently just going with a feeling on MysMe and got Jaehee's route. She is so cute!
Ahem... Voltage games... Sakura amidst Chaos is one... The male chars have annoying kissy-lips and some storylines are ridiculous but overall its quite alright. I guess Sanada Yukimura's route is my favourite since the MC isn't as pathetic as on the other ones. Date Masamune is a cool character too but the story is stupid. Competition, really? But I haven't really played it much other than testing out the free chapters. Other Voltage game that I tested, was Samurai Era: Code of Love. It was... alright. MC grates me a bit but Hajime Saito's route is kinda good.

I checked out the prologue for Sakura amidst Chaos... seems alright, though I got thrown off when the heroine gives her name... um, peasants didn't have family names in Senjoku Jidai... No one lower than samurai class had family names until Meiji...
~_~* I think I have more fun with the stories that are entirely made-up characters. I get a little confused with the ones that include historical figures... especially when I've met those same historical figures in multiple other games/manga/anime. (Shinsengumi specifically. Kaze Hikaru, Ruroni Kenshin, Hakuoki... those are off the top of my head. And the same historical figures look and even to a certain extent behave in completely different fashions depending on which story you're looking at...)

That wonderful feeling when you for the second week in the row finds out you got everything right at the English word test and that the classmate who read my short story (to help find typos and come with suggestions on how to make it better and such) just wanted to read more, saying it was great~


Also, went to the see the principal about possibly changing the Rhetoric class for another class (that I really don't know what to call in English but if you translate it directly it's called Lifestyle and Health) or another math lesson. I didn't want to go to Rhetoric class from the start anyway, I just agreed to do it since I wouldn't have to go to school for only one lesson on Tuesdays, but right now I feel that one lesson on Tuesdays is worth the problem as long as I don't have to go to that class
I started googling stuff for my "Earth is Flat" speech and got the result "Earth is flat and lying on the back of a whale" or something like that. I already disliked the topic when I got it, but tried telling myself that it's just another school project like any other but after that result popped up I seriously just wanted to whack my head into something really hurtful
The teachers have a meeting every Monday to discuss topics like this and discuss students' progress and such, the principal said I could check with my mentor when I get to school on Monday *hopes*

Today is the memorial service for my paternal grandfather (my Dad's dad), who died about a month ago. Mom wants me to say a decade of the Rosary (Roman Catholic thing). She assured me that if I got started I'd remember the whole thing.... only I kinda don't, besides the 10 Hail Mary's and the Our Father.... I'm pretty sure there are supposed to be Glory Be's in there somewhere, but I can't come up with where. I do not have a set of rosary beads, and I really don't see the point in rambling a bunch of words (that kinda tend to become somewhat meaningless when you recite the same thing over and over). Yeah, I grew up Catholic. My parents and youngest brothers are still Catholic. (Not sure about the oldest brother.) Archi grew up Catholic too, but neither of us are practicing Catholics anymore. He's athiest, and I tend to identify as "Agnostic" (I believe there is a higher power out there somewhere, but I don't know what.) It's been ages since I've recited the Rosary.... so now I'm trying to decide if I should do it because Mom asked me to, or not bother because I can't see the point. ~_~*

Yeah I'm fine literally best case scenario I could imagine considering I flew to his windscreen and destroyed it, I opened my eyes once after getting hit while I flipped 180 degree upside down in the air... Weird sight. No brain damage other than the shock as I wasnt wearing any helmet (and my head was bleeding but it didn't go deep enough) and my spine and neck are fine. It's been a week since that incident happened so I'm pretty ok now.
