There are only two US states that are bigger than Thailand, Texas and Alaska. All the rest are smaller. Thailand is bigger than California. California has about 30 area codes, but only half the number of people Thailand has. Thailand is a pretty big place, so I am surprised it doesn't have area codes.User 4869 wrote:Thailand doesn't have cellphone area code as far as I am concern. Thinking about it, how do Ai and Conan exist? They're aliasis, naturally but I'm thinking about stuff like school enrollment. Wouldn't they need to exist in a family registry?

Can someone please give me a translation of the first few lines of the song Kazuha sings in the beginning of the 7th movie? I can't seem to find them anywhere.

There are no official answer but many speculate that movie will continue.Geese wrote:Just a little question:

Kogoro, Eri, Yukiko went to the same school. Episode 333-334 (Similar princesses) Kogoro is once a cop and Yusaku often help him and megure solve case. So those two familes know each other well and Shinichi and Ran become childhood friend.pipexix wrote:how shinichi and ran met????

They make a lot of money from Detective Conan Movies, so they should keep making movies after the series end, though I can't really see the end of the series in the first place.User 4869 wrote:There are no official answer but many speculate that movie will continue.Geese wrote:Just a little question:

I know this happens in other series as well, but what is the purpose for using the glasses glare? You know, when a character wearing glasses suddenly shows a white glare that doesn't allow the audience to see their eyes. Is there a specific reason why the animators/writers do this in the anime/manga?

As User 4869 said: it makes a character look cool or scary
Also, for suspence, thrill or tension in certain scenes. (Conan explaining a trick or catching a culprit)

Re: DC Question and Answer Thread - Have a question? Get an answer here
i browsed 18 pages to check if there was already an answer to the question i'm about to ask
this may seem dumb but here goes:
what is the official/real/legit spelling of the family name/last name of our famous sleeping detective?
is it Mori or Mouri?
i din't want to check detectiveconanworld or wiki or whatever else because those seem to be not official? please do smack my head if those sites are not made by fans
...so i went and check the ytv website and thru the help of automatic translation of google, i saw there in the character list that the detective's last name's spelling is Mouri but his daughter's is Mori.. Mori Orchid in particular.
so which really is it?
and while we're at it, is it Kogoro or Kogorou?
ytv says it's Kogoro but i think i see some Kogorou
I don't want to read the names Jimmy, Rachel, Richard, Meguire, etc. so I'm in the process of erasing those names and writing their Japanese names!
a reference/source with your answer would be great!
Thank you! really

Afaik, it's Mōri Kogorō. Note that "ō" is a long vowel.
But because on our keyboards there's no "ō" , people usually write it as "o" or as "ou".
You can write it as you wish
Those references might not really help you, but you can google some more on long vowels, if you want

Anyone? ^^;Ness21 wrote:I have a question!!
I honestly can't find much info on this anywhere, so I would definitely appreciate some help from those who know a lot about the Japanese Manga Volumes of Detective Conan!
Outside of the Volumes that included the Nendoroid Figures [Volume 75 and Soccer Selection], are there any other Volumes that had a limited run? That brought some sort of item along with it or a different cover, perhaps? Something of the like?
Thanks in advance!
