Well, okay, truthfully, I don't know. I just always wanted to say that line.

I don't think she's a part of the org. if she is, then how could she know that Conan is really Shinichi? Unless Vermouth told her, I think that it's highly unlikely.

Because she is either Vermouth or Yukiko. Vermouth seems to be more likely. If it was Yukiko, it would have been easiert to tell Conan what this is all about. It's either a trap or she wants Conan to foil a plan of the BO.
Does anyone else think that boy looks a lot like Kazuki Kinukawa, the child actor from vol.39? (Slightly less Asian though)
It's just way too convenient that he would appear at the museum with such immaculate timing. And why would he suddenly start speaking Japanese if not to attract Conan's attention. It seems rather obvious the message was intended for him.

I'm fairly sure we're gonna get some BO action in this arc. The Clash of Red and Black was published ages ago and it just seems pointless to make such a massive arc when it's not plot-relevant.

Agree with Dus' point about the boy being planted.  Why else would the guy give the message to a kid?  If he'd given it to an adult, they'd never seek Holmes nor tell Conan what's up.

But then again, it could be just another convenient moment like the cat thing. In the series, EVERYTHING needs to involve Conan. He's always in the right place at the right time, and it's most of the time just coincidental. It's how Detective fiction works (most of the time). Death and mystery follows the detective wherever he goes.

If one person makes it seriously clear(Ai) to not use the pill, then the main character,(Conan) will use it. That always happens in other forms of fiction.

Either way, I can't wait to read this chapter!

Well, he has to do it, anyway. Conan will have to back to Japan as Shinichi, but there's always a possibility that he will take the pill too early. Then who would help him? Haibara? If I understand it, the effects of first pill is 24 hours, the second 12 hours... That means the third one would be effective only about 6 hours. That's not enough even to come back to Japan (flight from London lasts about 9 hours). Maybe Haibara gave two or three pills to Agasa secretly, so even if Conan did something stupid, he would take some pills on the plane.
I really don't think Ai will go to London, she can't go as Shiho (too dangerous), as Ai or Ayumi. A few days it's not much time to get a passport as Ayumi. Besides, she won't get on the plane anyway, because she's child. Without an adult person, even as Ayumi, airport employees won't let her go. I would also like to see adult Shiho, but it's almost impossible.

Hey, guys. I wonder why Ran was mad at Shinichi? Because he's not jealous about Ran's trip to London?? Because he's not such a Holmes freak as Ran thought (he's actually is, but through the phone it was sound like it)? Shouldn't she be happy about that? Isn't she tired of his obsession?? Really? I'm not sure what is the meaning of Ai's instructions - that every drug is effective for 24 hours (the time behalved only when Shinichi will take a pill before becoming Conan), or first drug is effective for 24 hours, but the second one only for 12 hours, because Conan's body will get used to the drug? Could somebody explain that to me?
"Before time is up" she meant "before you change back to Conan" or "before your trip is over"?
I guess Ai's warning means only that when Conan will have only 12 hours to go back to Japan, so he has to wisely calculate the time. I don't know why Shinichi would take a pill right after coming to London. If he has only two pills, he has no choice.

Personally this is getting annoying. Some Ai Fans aren't satisfied about any new case when Haibara/Shiho isn't shown on every single panel page...

It's strange for Conan to fly to London, but it wouldn't be strange for Haibara to fly to London to save Conan? Seriously now?
Well, enough complained now D:

Haibara wouldn't take the risk to turn back into Shiho and fly to london... She's being pursued by the BO. And a Airport is a place where the BO will definitely look out for Shiho. She has better chances to fly away as Haibara, since the BO doesn't know she shrinked. But like conan, she doesn't have a pass for that form.
And I bet Haibara gave Conan secretly a pill more. Or Agasa will simply have some extra pills and rescue Shinichi.

I think Haibara gave him the Antidote because:
1) Conan is a Holmes Fan
2) Conan asked Agasa for a fake passport, which is a crime. And usually Conan hates crimes. And I guess Haibara prefered to hand him over the antidote before he does something silly and kills someone in order to get a pass
3) Conan already agreed to fly to London and he was all excited. When he wouldn't be able to fly he'd need to give Ran a good explanation why. And he can't just say: "Well, I'm actually Shinichi and I don't have a pass for Conan". And saying that he prefers to stay here with the DB's and doing something with them instead of visiting London and visit Holmes-related-stuff... would be strange too.

Ran was mad because she loves Shinichi and wanted to give him a gift/souvenir. She expected him to be all thankful and stuff. But instead he was more like: "No, I already told you no. So shut up!" (well, he had to hide so he didn't sounded "interested" and that made her mad). And the fight about silly stuff often, so it's nothing strange or new O.o"

Anyway, just thought of this - Conan's obsession with Holmes is actually pretty sick. He is willing to risk so much for a fictional character............

I think there will be at least some info about the BO. Or even a BO involved. Since the New York case also gave infos about the BO. Seems familiar ;p

Maybe Ran will get in danger (like usually). But I also thought maybe Haibara will get abducted. Since the last case mentioned something about children being kidnapped and that they have to be careful. Maybe a BO abducts her? :x Or maybe she get's discovered while Conan isn't there and hides herself and Conan can't find her and panics D:
And since Haibara is alone at Japan with the DB's, they probably plan to do something since conan is having fun without them in London So maybe a DB get's kidnapped while Conan is away?

He seems to have learned two languages at the same time. English and Japanese.
And speaking from experience, I also did. And when I was young I sometimes spoke in both languages, without noticing.

So him suddenly speaking japanese when he's angry isn't so strange.
Of course, it could all still be set up. But going to the expenses to get Conan to london and set him up is strange when it's the BO. But If it was a plan from shinichis parents, then it's different. Because they like to tease and spoil his son.
If it was organized by Shinichis parents, it would explain why Haibara would more willingly give him the Antidote too.

The old lady, like already said, could be Yukiko or simply a old rich lady that likes detectives. Or she's from the BO. Maybe Vermouth like said. Or she's the lady from the phone with the cat. It doesn't have to be Vermouth, could be a different BO that was in contact with that programmer guy (who's name I forgot).
It could also be Bourbon instead of Vermouth. No one said Bourbon is male D:

More significant than the APTX antidote lasting 30 minutes longer than 24 hours is the fact that Shinichi/Conan does not appear to have a cold.

He sneezed in the plane D: So maybe he has/had a cold.

And I think the resistance is going down again over time (since vaccination isn't lasting forever too D:) So maybe that's why it lasted longer?

Actually, this might end up in being another "suspicion case" near the end because of this. Conan is obviously showing more signs of intelligence now more than ever, especially the fact that he was able to speak English and also because Shinichi doesn't seem to care about the fact that Ran's going to London. Doesn't that seem a bit odd? It's probably the most obvious thing to think, since Ran knows that Shinichi is a Holmes otaku, and he's never been in London before.

Even Ran thought to herself that if Shinichi was here, he'd be in glee, so the connection might be obvious. Also, I think Haibara was being kind to Conan this arc, mostly because of him fanboying all over the place, and hell, I thought it was weird that he'd suggest something illegal. It just doesn't seem like him at all.

Now, since we're talking about the case, does anybody have any ideas on what the letter/code means?

Agree. Conan is acting more and more suspicious around Ran. And isn't cautious at all.

Maybe Haibara improved the Antidote and wanted to test it on him? Could explain why it's 30mins more, why conan doesn't seem to have a cold and why Haibara gave him the antidote in the first place. Maybe she didn't tell him that she improved it (or the reader didn't see it and she did tell him) so that Conan doesn't complain: "You just want to use me as a test subject"
Or maybe Gosho get's old and forgets his own stuff he put in XD

Now what I guess what the missing words could be:

London is a chilled boiled egg like a corpse. (Someone said it's "ion". But you can't see it clearly. It could also be a l, d, i or j) And since they are in London it would make sense)
N/How I remember to ask a cake to cerebrate in adva[...] (Someone said it could be Now. But How could fit into it too.)
He/She/It tells me to finish everything piercing a white back ? (dunno what could stand here. But there should be a lot of letters, so a long word or more shorter words. Since you can see some word between conans fingers/behind his hand)

There's not much point in trying to figure out those missing words, since we're probable going to get access to them without trouble in the next file.

Regarding Ran's reaction, of course she would be mad. What's more, I'd be suspicious. It's hard to understand that a brainiac like Shinichi can't realize that he'd rather act interested to avoid Ran's suspicions. He even thinks something like "I'm not excited because I'm here". That seems pretty stupid. Even if he didn't have a reason to hide his identity, he could act a bit more interested just because she's thinking about him. Yeah, he really doesn't seem to be relationship smart at all.
