It is addicting. Have you played Sims 3?

No, my computer's two and a half years old and I don't want to erase my Sims 2 data. Basically, I fear it'll explode if I install Sims 3.

But it's okay. I just played for a bit and then stopped. I'm in control. I can stop any time I like.

....you're in trouble. That's what all the addicts say. "I can stop any time I want to!"

I would hope not, but then that's still basically the same as explaining the joke, which is just as bad :P

::)

Sorry, I wasn't being dramatic enough. Next time it'll be more like this:

"OH NOES!!! MANGA IS IN DENIAL ABOUT HER ADDICTION!!!! :'( :'( :'("

or something.

Seriously, man, I got this. I'm in control. I swear.

By the way, is it bizarre that I don't get nightmares from the likes of Saw and Paranormal Activity- I can even walk through dark rooms without jumping afterwards, generally to turn on the lights for everyone else- but I remain so terrified of Missingno that I will not, under any circumstances, Surf east of Cinnabar in any Pokemon game?

Why is it that I don't remember anyone having Missingno-related problems back in my day?

Really? I was terrified of it (still am... I was reading Pokemon creepypastas before bed last night, so when the fever came back at 3am, guess what my scaryass hallucinations looked like?), and most kids I knew thought that if you tried to catch it it would come out of your Gameboy and eat you, or that, like it could delete your game, it would delete your house and your school and your parents and eventually you...

Except for the one kid who used it to clone rare candies like crazy, but nobody would ever link battle or trade with him in case Missingno got through the link cables.
