thinking of it right now, yeah I would choose to kill myself. After all, it's the choice that makes sense. However, when put in the situation, I can't count on myself to have the same ideals I have when I'm sitting safely in my house.

Well, it also depends if I have a family and kids D: But when I'm like now I would save the people I guess?

A lot of things were said to be impossible in the days of yore. Like flying or going faster than 30mph without dying of speed.
I know, it's just that timetravel always breaks against the rules of logic, at least every time I've seen it explained. I've heard Doctor Who has a really good explanation but until I've seen it I stand by that timetravel is ridiculous.
Doctor Who having a good explanation of time travel? Yyyyyyyeah don't count on that.
Anyway, yeah it breaks the rules of logic, but people also thought that teleportation broke logic as well, even though quantum-scale teleportation has been discovered. Science is constantly evolving, and many things that broke logic 200 years ago are commonplace now.
An example on what bothers me about timetravel: it is possible to become your own grandfather. In what way does that make sense? Only if everything is already decided by some illogical overlord. How timetravel works doesn't bother me that much, I can oversee such things, but the fact that the travels themselves always break against all logicalness is what bothers me..
I guess it would be poeple's life, after alll even if I die I would felt what is live a real adventure for once in my life.
Do not be far from me, for trouble is near and there is no one to help me. Psalm 22:11 “Cursed is the one who trusts in man..." Part of Jeremiah 17:5 index.php?topic=4047.msg547789#new <-- My FanArt

Maybe your family's part of the 1 million.

Yeah, deep.
EDIT: stupid poll-question-limit. Here is the full question: If there was a situation, in which a milion of people (who you have no connection to) are in a life-threatning situation, but if you would sacrifice your life, the people will be saved. So it's either your life, or the lives of milion people. Which would you choose?
