Re: Akemi's Deductions
Until now I thought is very possible that "That Person" is a politician or someone involved with the Government in some way, one of those people that were mentioned briefly at some point.
Although the theory of Haibara's dad seems interesting.
And I don't think Heiji is going to die...
Thinking it again, it's very probable.

This topic is like Memento, you see. I will now discuss your deduction on a certain topic.
I don't like your deduction regarding Akai becoming a cross-dresser, it just doesn't make much sense. It seems more like wishful thinking on your part instead of being based in actual fact from astute observations made in the manga proper.

Should I call Ms Franziska Von Karma again?
btw, Ms Von Karma would like to thank kirite for her help during last trial. She's not sure if her PM could reach you.

Re: Akemi's Deductions
Just a suggestion, but I would rename your topic into: "Akemi's thoughts" or "Akemi's ideas"
Because if you use "deduction", then you have to post deductions. Then you can't ask about something or tell a fact or ask where people know this fact from etc. If you rename it, then you can ask and say anything you want to

Wait someone thinks Akai is really a woman? Err. ...Probably not. That would mean Jodie and Akemi are lesbians....Jd- wrote: This topic is like Memento, you see. I will now discuss your deduction on a certain topic.

That reminds me, someone was going on in the mangafox forums about Gin really being a woman. While I seriously doubt he is a woman, I did consider the possibility he was gay at one point, but after seeing a good retranslation of the first chapter of the reunion with the black org (the Pisco case), where the translator pointed out the innuendo Gin was using, I decided he was probably heterosexual, or at least bisexual. While Gin might be using the idea of sleeping around as a metaphor for betrayal and switching allegiances, I can see why people think Gin might have had something going on with Sherry. I don't know how I feel about that (Ace attorney's Canadian judge ftw), but the idea of Gin as a stalker whom Sherry hates and whose advances she must fend off from time to time (with various lab chemicals perhaps?) is amusing and totally creepy at the same time.
Here's a copy of the relevant commentary for that chapter btw...
The betrayal theme:
In Ai's dream, Gin says Sherry's favorite color is scarlet and says "her wanton sporting is over" - what does he mean by that? A scarlet woman is an immoral woman, a prostitute. Wanton sporting is the same type of insult. He accuses her, in her dreams, of being sexually unrestrained. A correct translation of those terms is vital to understand what kind of character Gin is. Not only does he call her a betrayer, he also implied (several times) they had a relationship. I'm sure most readers wonder why he thinks of her nekkid and recognizes a strand of her hair. XD

Re: Akemi's Deductions
Hmm... it is an interesting topic. Personally, I don't think it's possible that Toichi is the leader. However, I don't think we can safely say that he is a nice guy. We know too little about him. I think that it is safe to say that he has a playful side but other than that we know nothing. He does have that poker face and it's possible that any part of him we see is simply that or a disguise of his. Also, while Kaito has a justifiable (at least in my opinion) reason for becoming Kaitou Kid, we know nothing of why Toichi did. His wife and son are nice enough but for all we know he could have started stealing because he was bored.lol and kaito's DAD anokata? possable but... i think it's impossable for him. Touichi was too much of a mysterious and nice guy for that. anokata has to be someone barely seen or often seen that seems odd. like sonoko's mom (only seen once AND would make sense) or a mysterious person never seen yet. knowing vermouth is his favorite we can ALMOST guarentee it's a man.
I don't think we can safely say that it's a man, either. Their gender is hidden purposefully. In my mind, this actually makes it more likely to be a female. And besides, saying that someone of the opposite gender is your favorite is implying a romantic relationship (though this isn't always the case). I can't see somebody in charge of a criminal organization having an intimate relationship with one of its members and then sending that member out to possibly get captured.
1. Tracing is not drawing and you have no right to call yourself an artist if you think that. If you traced something or used a base then you should at least have the courtesy to thank the original artist by telling others that you used their base.......oh no. the people who bother me have followed me. and kiritie. i HAVE asked, and that pic was a base so it was of FREE use. damn woman, every time i do something. it's gotta be something with you.
2.
Ooooh! I found you somewhat annoying before but I never disliked you. But believe me, my feelings have now changed. That I think is the one phrase that I simply cannot stand. I don't care who it's said to. It simply shouldn't be said.damn woman

Re: Akemi's Deductions
ok!
1. if i knew the artist i would have put it down. i found the base on DEV. you want me to put the base artist? fine
2. i wasn't talking to you. it was kiritie i called that. she knows me and that i hold a grudge for her picking me apart.
3. and yeah....anokata COULD be a female. you're right, it's purposefully kept from us. i never thought about the romantic part of it. saying it like that it just puts the identity back in a cloud of mystery.
