hehe.. i think there was just a mistake in the subbing of anime-conan? maybe the names gin and vodka was told in the 5th episode? but i think that's impossible.

maybe there were just some mistakes that's why it took some episodes before conan said the names gin and vodka..

as of now, i'm reviewing the old episodes... thanks for the list of episodes that you have given.. i will add them in my list.

anyway, do you know what episode takagi first appeared?

I think it was in an anime original, episode 66. His first appearance in the manga was volume 18 file 1 (adapted by episode 102-103). Sonoko was also introduced in the anime in an anime original story, episode 6. Her manga introduction was 5.1 (story covered by episodes 34-35).

There are a few recurring anime characters that haven't been used in the manga as recurring characters, at least by name. I haven't kept track of them, though... (I think there was a Tokyo police detective Kobayashi, not to be confused with the Detective Boys' 1st grade teacher Kobayashi.)

I agree but the list was specifically for the super important episodes. And there are manga episodes way more important that aren't listed.

nah, it wasn't a translation error as in episode 5, they're not even the actual Gin/Vodka, so nobody in the episode would have a way of knowing their names.
