A few pairings I couldn't see happening period are:
Mitsuhiko x Ai
Conan x Ayumi
I only say that because of the fact that both Conan and Ai still think like their 17/18 year old selves. I just couldn't see this happening, even if the story ended up with their having to grow up all over again. They would probably always see them as kids.
That aside, I couldn't see Ayumi paired with Mitsuhiko or Genta.
