I love this opening! It's really fresh and new. It's not really very 'detective-ish' but I think it's good to shake it up every now and then. The animation is really high quality and Kuraki Mai's singing is fantastic as always /fangirl

Also, the amount of ShinRan pleases me greatly...

In the past, new Detective Conan's openings were something I was looking forward to.
Now I don't, but I actually like the ending, when Ran and Shinichi are holding hands.

The song is cool, but IMO it doesn't suit DC at all. And I was quite surprised that Sera, Amuro, or anyone from the BO wasn't in this opening.

Isn't the conclusion to the Bourbon arc coming up soon? I would figure it would be like Q&A, with the BO everywhere….

Anyway, probably my least favorite opening. I did like Greed quite a bit, though.

I think I prefer when we see many characters in the opening like BO, FBI, Heiji, Kazuha, Police, etc rather than just two characters, i.e. Ran and Shinichi. Well, we got some other characters, at the beginning, but they barely can be seen; I guess I would prefer other characters to be seen like later on in the opening. I also didn't get this feeling while listening to the song like 'Wow, this song is amazing', it was just another of those good songs. Maybe, if the song would be different, I would like the opening better. Anyway, I wasn't impressed by this opening.

And I honestly don't know, I haven't followed the anime that well since my departure from Japan over a year ago, so I have no clue where it's at.

There are a few ways how they could handle the Bourbon Arc Conclusion. It's possible they'll do one of those three:

a) Replace visuals (see: 345 and OP13) I find this option possible, just switching up the visuals a bit. I can imagine the BOs appearing in the same song but with the animation having a completely new look.

b) New Song for the conclusion and a few episodes, either before or after (see: 425 and OP16) Possibly the most likely, they might do a Q&A or a Shoudou, though it'll hardly matter. Q&A as in it's conclusion + episodes before or after and Shoudou as in the Bourbon Arc conclusion introduces the opening and does episodes completely afterwards. I prefer the latter, because Q&A seemed REAAAAALLY weird when they're doing a cute AO. Imagine if Bourbon does menacing stuff and the episode is about puppies or something, though that would change if the opening is introduced in one of the build up episodes to conclusion.

c) New Song for the conclusion (see: Clash of Red & Black and OP22) I don't see it happening because the conclusion won't be long enough to justify a new opening on its own. Maybe? Idk.

I think that the conclusion will probably happen next year though, so by that time we would most likely have a new opening. Honestly I will not be shocked if the first few months or so of 2015 is a streak of AOs and Remaster with sprinkles of plot here and there.

Hmm, this new opening sure gets a lot of polarising opinions. xd
