Re: Favourite Murder Trick
Well this one the murderer was there but she used the prefect weapon . A wig
Also I find it interesting that the murderer alway poisons the right victim and never the wrong one. I always thought that with poison you ( murderer ) not there could result is a wrongful death, but I am still waiting for that to happen.

I agree with Holmes
I like the trick that is used in ep 184 "A Cursed Mask Coldly Laughs (1 Hour Special)".
Never expected that, the trick was nicely thought.
It really was a perfect murder.

DC Chapter 625-637
But this may just be because I don't remember much of the older cases... Must refresh my memory now...

Re: Favourite Murder Trick
Speaking of poisons, do they really work that fast? How many people have died seconds after taking it? I especially think the cases where the victim was poisoned right in front of the Detectives they would at least have time to get to a hospital.sstimson wrote: Well this one the murderer was there but she used the prefect weapon . Re: Favourite Murder Trick
I can remember quite a few Agatha Christie books where she complains that in mystery novels, poisons are always fast-acting. xD I don't think they are, though (although it depends on the poison). Some poisons like strychnine take a few hours to take effect.EvilOtaku wrote: Speaking of poisons, do they really work that fast? How many people have died seconds after taking it? Re: Favourite Murder Trick
Well, in movie 2, Kisaki Eri was poisoned but she had time to get to a hospital and be healed, maybe the poison wasn´t that strong, but cyanide, I think, works very fast.
*EDIT* I remeber an episode where the criminal puts poison inside a frozen flower, and when the victim turned on the heater the flower opened and the victim smelled the poison and died.
That was pretty cool too.

Re: Favourite Murder Trick
It depends on how the poison got into the body and what the poison does in the body. For example, cyanide stop the blood from taking up oxygen and CO2, which kills a person within a minute or 2. There are muscle relaxants which stops the heart, so that in less than a minute the person stops pumping blood. So in all DC episodes, since they use cyanide, it makes sense that people die so fast (but they're not going to show a 2 min gap till the person drops dead... that's a waste of manga space/episode run time)EvilOtaku wrote: Speaking of poisons, do they really work that fast? Edit: My above examples only apply when the poison is in the blood. Totally forgot to mention that

Re: Favourite Murder Trick
YAY! my first post. ok, 2 things.
1. my favorite trick would be the setup with the chess pieces and book from 129.
2. seeing as how we're talking bout poisons. i worked in a hospital as part of an internship in HS. Cyanide can take up to two hours to kill someone and there is actually a standard first aid kit for cyanide intoxication.
