Re: Files 743-??? Discussion Thread
Anyone here think that Hades and Hestia might be manipulated by some Moriarty-like person? Hades seems to be expert about Sherlock Holmes. Don't know, but... this just remind me of Movie 6, where in Noah's Ark-version of the game, Jack the Ripper was manipulated by Moriarty. Just saying, just saying.

Did not resist not reading this. I agree with the ones who said that the whole situation for the invitation, does not seem good enough for a writer like Gosho, besides Ai's sympathy for Conan and let him be Shinichi twice in a short time, sounds just out of character to me, since she only agrees when it is a matter of life or death.
On the other hand, Diana has hardly appeared, since she is the one who invited them and paid all this money, But I was thinking, since she is that rich, she must be living in a mansion, were there should be a space to host Mouri and his family.
Hope the coming files will clarify more about her.
Also, I was disappointed that the London under ground was not part of the riddle.
Finally, my only hope here is that something is happening in Japan related to the plot, while they are in London.

Every time I want to give up on DC, it manages to bring me back, it brings me back feelings I know that I will never ever feel or live again.

You know what? This reminds me of Yusaku, when they were about to catch the criminal in the North Star (?) train case and he waited for the perfect moment. Father and son. XDAbs. wrote:Spoiler: 751

I like this. Outsourcing crime is something Moriarty is known for and it would just make the arc so much more awesome.JohnTitor wrote: Anyone here think that Hades and Hestia might be manipulated by some Moriarty-like person? if they ever do a basketball case, they better get the harlem globetrotters in there.Kor wrote: So we're still missing a Basketball case, and if Conan gets to go to the US again, we'll probably see a Football case too........though I doubt another US visit will happen, so leave that out.
I'm fairly certain that at the Basketball case, we'll see the die-hard basketball fans, Gin and Vodka, at the audience cheering for their favorite team ;D

It's their nature to show off. They like to wait for the right moments to get some attention.Misztina wrote:You know what? Re: Files 743-??? Discussion Thread
lol yes exactly. it's in Shinichi's nature to show the smug face and be all dramatic, to go ahead and DO SOMETHING without any hesitation is more like, Heiji's style. xD but then again, since they were at 7-7, I guess Conan just figured that they were safe, for now. we don't know at which point Conan found Hades, it might have been when the umpire was reviewing the challenge for all we know, when everyone would be transfixed on the giant screen/umpire, except Hades/Minerva.ShiraKiryuu wrote:It's their nature to show off. and i kinda really like this file actually. Gosho's meaning of 'hang in there' was cooler than i expected and it would've been so exciting to watch that match!!!

Conan probably found out at the moment he's pictured doing the "surprised" face on page 13. Regarding the assumption that Conan's going to find Hades because he will be the only one who's not following the ball, besides Juno. Why do you think Hades won't be following the ball? He doesn't need to be watching the cammera to film. He just needs to point it and hold it still. He should be watching the game, if he's anxiously waiting for it to end.

Re: Files 743-??? Discussion Thread
I'd like to think Conan found Hades just then and hadn't had time to run around the court yet. Conan's plan has proceeded without hitch so far. I sure hope something goes wrong to make it interesting. So far Hades' plan doesn't seem like it requires an accomplice, so it's questionable if Hestia is here at all. He could post her as a lookout, but he hasn't said anything aloud that could be interpreted as instructions to watch out for anyone. He doesn't have a mike or earphones either. I assume mystery lady will appear in this next file or the file after this one, whichever is the resolution.
Holding the camera steady is difficult if you are not paying attention. Hades is zoomed way in to the other side of the court, so if he doesn't want the image to swing wildly, he needs to be somewhat focused on keeping the image centered on Juno. He can watch the game, but it isn't going to be like the other spectators who can freely move to follow the action.Dashin wrote:Regarding the assumption that Conan's going to find Hades because he will be the only one who's not following the ball, besides Juno. For some reason this reminds of the episode of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Ail episode when Will visited his mom in philadelphia but in the end he wanted to stay in philadelphia, but then in the next episode you see the fresh prince producers showing up to Will saying the show is called Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and not Philadelpia then threw him in a van and brought him back to Bel-Air.
Ah...hilarious
