It says he is a DCTP staff member.
It does.  And "helloworld" sounds to me like a test user that doesn't actually belong to anyone.  Of course, DCTP staff can correct me if I'm wrong.

I was wondering if that was the case, but a review of the post history made it seem like a real person, though for all I know it could an alt created to test something or whatever. However, the contest operation under a presumption of innocence and the only thing I can really do is ask staff people to investigate a bit more carefully as I certainly can't go back and change the tiebreak rule.

Man will go down into the pit, and all his thoughts will perish. The uneasy consciousness, which in this obscure corner has for a brief space broken the contented silence of the universe, will be at rest. Matter will know itself no longer. 'Imperishable monuments' and 'immortal deeds,' death itself, and love stronger than death, will be as though they had never been."

Well, if one of these 74 people is a murderer, then we need some trick to narrow it down to the three possible culprits.

I was bored and was going through old threads when I noticed something that I had overlooked originally: the "Total Voters" is 72, but the combined total =74 (37+37). How in the world does that happen? Obviously the contest is over, but I am curious how exactly that happens with a two option poll.

Ya, I just noticed it going through some of the other contests. Still sort of curious what causes it though.
