I'm cheering for Argentina ALL THE WAY, but I voted Brazil,Italy and England.
Brazil is Brazil.
Italt has the best defense of the world.
England has Rooney, the best player of 2010 imo.

I agree that Rooney is playing great right now, but have you not seen Messi play, he is unstoppable right now although I know that when he puts on the "Albiceleste" he doesn't play as good as he does in Barcelona.conia wrote: I'm cheering for Argentina ALL THE WAY, but I voted Brazil,Italy and England.

And you are right. Well, all the Argentinians want Messi to be the leader of the National Team, but he can't deal with that. A strong mentality is needed. Someone like Veron should take care of that. Argentina will have the best duet of forwards in the World Cup (Higuain and Messi). Let's see how things go for our side.

Re: World Cup poll
Our team, naturally again, couldn't amke it, so don't have any favourites.
I voted for Brazil or Spain, though I won't be sad at all if Argentina wins. I'll root for them too.
I hope Japan shows some good skills too, I'll keep my fingers crossed for them.

I have faith in the Argentinian team, they just have to play as they do in clubs and we are unstoppable.
So my vote goes to Argentina. Brazil and Italy.
Although there may be some surprises: Chile, Spain and Netherlands.

Re: World Cup poll
I think that the biggest issue Argentina needs to overcome is the lack of experiance of their Coach, Maradona could have been the best player ever, but as a Coach he still has a long way to go

His coaching knowledge comes from experience of being a football player, but that's not enough imo...sdf1macross wrote: I think that the biggest issue Argentina needs to overcome is the lack of experiance of their Coach, Maradona could have been the best player ever, but as a Coach he still has a long way to go![]()

Re: World Cup poll
That's the thing, I think he was so good that it didn't matter what the coach said to him, he would just do whatever he wanted and it will always work out, no coach I think would dare to tell him anything, maybe just "Go ahead and do what you do" so he can't really apply what he learned from the coaches he had because he probably didn't learn anything, I think it was against Peru that he sent Palermo in and instead of giving him instructions he just told him " Go Fix this thing"conia wrote:His coaching knowledge comes from experience of being a football player, but that's not enough imo...sdf1macross wrote: I think that the biggest issue Argentina needs to overcome is the lack of experiance of their Coach, Maradona could have been the best player ever, but as a Coach he still has a long way to go![]()

Saying that things is very common in Argentina. Palermo has more experience than any other player in the National Team, so he knew what to do.sdf1macross wrote:That's the thing, I think he was so good that it didn't matter what the coach said to him, he would just do whatever he wanted and it will always work out, no coach I think would dare to tell him anything, maybe just "Go ahead and do what you do" so he can't really apply what he learned from the coaches he had because he probably didn't learn anything, I think it was against Peru that he sent Palermo in and instead of giving him instructions he just told him " Go Fix this thing"conia wrote:His coaching knowledge comes from experience of being a football player, but that's not enough imo...sdf1macross wrote: I think that the biggest issue Argentina needs to overcome is the lack of experiance of their Coach, Maradona could have been the best player ever, but as a Coach he still has a long way to go![]()
