Was the Furinkazaan Ep. the last one where Shinichi appeared as Shinichi?

Episode 522 I believe.

Episode 524 was the last time Shinichi appeared as Shinichi. However, He only appeared as part of the prologue in 524. Episode 523 was the last episode with him starring through a full appearance.

I hoped he might show up during White Day, but all I got were some lousy mints.

Maybe Shinichi appearances are getting harder to do as the series goes on--Gosho has to top the last appearance so we don't get bored, figure out another way for him to allay Ran's suspicions, make sure the BO doesn't get wind of it, etc.

I think a Shinichi-appearance case that involves the FBI would be interesting.

Hehe! This case gave me some information I needed for my fanfic! It should be utilized somewhere between chapters 15 and 20 depending on whether or not I can think of more filler stuff... (that's by far the hardest thing to come up with... )

The only way I would stay interested in Shinichi returning (and the only way it wouldn't be a repeat of Shinichi returning like he always does, Ran talking like they always do, and him leaving like he always does  ) would be if Shiho also grew bigger...then they'd REALLY have to run and hide from the BO, which would make it interesting, and then Ran not only gets more suspicious of Conan being Shinichi, but of Shiho and her involvement with Shinichi, and on top of that, the FbI would notice something about Shiho, so she would have to go under disguise in order to hide. Then certain characters would expose themselves because of Sherry's awakening. Gin would definitely be on the prowl! Then Esuike would RETURN! okay, i'm going too far.... But I think most of everybody would be involved in that kind of episode, which is exciting for me.

(176-178 was one of those episodes that made me on edge the whole time!  I want a case like that again).
