I guess it could keep going after the plot stuff ends. I hope it doesn't, though. I think it would feel anticlimactic. Unless Gosho starts a spinoff manga for Shinichi and his cases, which I would be all over.

first of all, they would have to find a new name and if that happens many people would probably don't even bother with that show; and eventually it would just die because of low ratings
There might be a catchy name using that "one truth" homonym pun in his name. Dunno how to make it grammatically correct, though. Shin'ichi no Shinjitsu Ichiban, "Shin'ichi's #1 Truth", or something like that.

lol if it even gets so far as to have an English dub. Didn't those DC dubs end like before episode 129 or something like that? yea, imagne a Detective Jimmy....total flop....
i don't like DC be left alone just like Hunter X Hunter that until now is in hiatus stage... if aoyama-san die.. hope that he will give a wonderful ending for this work...
Actually it was episode 131 and funi. has yet to confirm if they are stopping Case Closed. Plus movie 3-6 were recently dubbed and released, as well as the viridian collections that are released... holy crap its released to day i just noticed. Soon we should be able to find out about more of their plans for Case closed.
