It was definitely the Kaito Kid manga file where Shinichi noticed the four beasts of the North, South, East, and West, and showed a glow-in-the-dark keyhole in each of the four tiles...conan noticed that right away...even though it wasn't obvious from the beginning....

The contact lens that happened to fall into the seam of the killer's ankle cuff on his pants, and was still there after he had walked around for a bit (The Face-Mask murder case).
