He's most likely referring to the returning 4-panel manga, which usually features Gosho and his assistants. Unlike back then, he has more assistants now to work with for his little shorts.

Oh, you mean Goshō Aoyama and the assistants literally appear in the comic as characters in it? I thought the 4-panel comics were the ones were the MK characters were portrayed as in-universe actors playing the characters.
