It looks like a New Year congratulation, and there is Kid disguised as Shinichi and Conan is singing "Boku ga iru" with all the DB playing instruments, but I don't remember seeing this...

I think the first administrators were the site founders and then they began to appoint other users who contributed to the community as moderators.

In my case it was a personal invitation by Jd- who offered me in light of my contributions to the community over the recent times.

So it depends on the current administrators, I guess.

There is not a straight answer to this one as it depends on the circumstances. Until a while ago I was the only active moderator on the website so I asked Jd- to add a few more, and the people who are chosen are those he deems responsible and can maintain order.
There isn't really a road to become a moderator, though. It's more of a "don't call us, we'll call you" type of thing (only Jd- is the one doing the calling).

I understand, and No I am not going to ask either Jd- or any other Admin/Mods for "Make Me a Mod/Admin" I was just asking whether They 'just' make you or is there a certain criteria or something. That's all.
Thanks Btw!

In the anime, I've heard a Japanese phrase (usually said by the Detective Boys when entering a building) that translates to something like "We will now intrude!" Does somebody know what that phrase is?

I believe it's "Ojamashimasu" (おじゃまします).

No, they have not.
“Life is infinitely stranger than anything which the mind of man could invent. We would not dare to conceive the things which are really mere commonplaces of existence. If we could fly out of that window hand in hand, hover over this great city, gently remove the roofs, and and peep in at the queer things which are going on, the strange coincidences, the plannings, the cross-purposes, the wonderful chains of events, working through generations, and leading to the most outre results, it would make all fiction with its conventionalities and foreseen conclusions most stale and unprofitable.”

There's no real point in "bumping" a sticky topic cause it will always be at the top of the page.
There's also no real need to bump a topic in which the latest post belonged to you and you bump it in the same day as your latest post.
If someone feels like answering your question, they will answer your question. This specific bump post was unnecessary.

In general, though, please refrain from doing "bump" posts in general, but especially with the above factors in mind.

I apologize if my behavior came across as discourteous, but I was feeling rather frustrated.
If I recall correctly, what happened was that, after nobody had posted in this top category in a while (or not since the beginning of the day, at least) I posted the question. And then right afterwards somebody posted in another thread in this topic category which bumped that to the front. I figured that, at least for the rest of the day, all posts would be in that thread (or it'd just sit there at the top of the front page inactive). Also, whenever I bumped this thread, the activity in the thread seemed to have died down, so it appeared that the latter was the case.
And then, a person came and posted in the Q&A thread, so that most likely their question (about Sonoko and Makoto kissing) would be answered whereas mine would likely be ignored, and then to make things worse that person went back and posted in the thread that I bumped away, which is why I ended up asking the question in the Spoilers Box.
I figured that if I didn't bump it it'd likely be several days/weeks before I got an answer, and I didn't want my writing process to be put on hold for this one thing. I've asked a lot of meaningless random questions in the past, but this one was kinda important. Again, sorry, and it won't happen again.

Hey guys, I had this random thought about scars
I know that the depth of the cut is what make it scar, the more depth the more likely it will scar, and I happen to have a lot of scars on my hands, even though the cuts were not that deep, maybe it depends on the person and how their skin heals
Why am I talking about scars ?

When Gin was shot at by Akai in the Black Impact episode, he got a scar on his cheek
"Shuichi Akai shoots Gin's scope out and grazes his cheek. The wound will eventually scar and is seen in all of Gin's later appearances" Conan wiki- Gin page

second is Eri, who was a gun shot scar from when Kogoro shot her to save her life when she was taken as a hostage, however I know this is non-conan since its from movie 2 however, it still shows the effect of a scar gained from a gun shot.

Haibara aka Shiho was shot by Gin and did end up with a few wounds, one of them on her cheek, others on her shoulder and stomach, however she does not show any scars at all, not on her cheek or her shoulders.

I wonder why haibara doesn't have any scars, is it because if she has scars it will make people wonder how she got them, especially a gun shot on her shoulder would be alerting to grown ups at least. Thats what I think

Any thought ?

It's probably just artistic license from Gosho; i.e. he only wants there scars to be left behind if it looks cool like with Gin. That's what I think at least. Conan doesn't have a scar from his Desperate Revival gunshot wound either.
