What's on your mind?

If you have some randomness to share that you can't post elsewhere, this is the place to do it.

I took a blood sample from myself. It was kinda exiting but on the other hand it was easier than what I thought it would be

I got a sandwich for free at the school café today \o/
I overslept and had no time to make breakfast, I got to school during break and attempted to buy a sandwich but they had just had black out and the internet wouldn't work so they couldn't withdraw any money for my school. The guy working at café felt rather bad since it wasn't my fault it wasn't working and said I could have it for free, woo~

In addition to the lovely Secret Santa festivities, we are planning a special Movie Night stream for December 23rd. This will feature a previously-unreleased project from DCTP that was prepared ONLY for this occasion. It will never be released at any other point, so try to be there to enjoy it with everyone while you can!

So I finished painting the painting below the other day and went to hang it up in a corner in the school cafeteria that me and friend share (he took down all his paintings recently though since it's his last day on Wednesday :( So I guess it's my corner now) and I got tons of compliments while I was on my way there. I didn't expect that ^^'

I was listening the radio today and they were speaking about Christmas Carols. They wondered why Finnish carols are so miserable and sad.
For example: Sparrow on Christmas morning
Spoiler:
Snow has already covered the flowers in a valley,
the comber of a lake frozen in the winter freeze,
A sparrow, little one, has eaten the summertime food,
the comber of a lake has frozen in the winter freeze.

On the stairs of a little cabin there was a dear girl,
come, sparrow, with joy, take a seed from me!
It is Christmas, homeless my sparrow, miserable,
come here with joy, take a seed from me!

To the girl the dear sparrow flew joyously:
with gratitude I do take the seed from you.
The God will want to reward you sometime.
With gratitude I do take the seed from you!

I am not, my child, a bird from this land,
I am your small brother, I came from the Heavens.
The tiny seed, that you gave to the poor,
the small brother of yours, from the land of the angels, got.
Well you can't blame us as it's the darkest time of the year. And maybe these songs just fit to minds of Finns.
Oh but from here you can find some cheery Finnish Christmas Carols

EDIT
I just found this Donald Duck ad. FYI, Donald Duck comics are hugely popular in Finland from all age categories.
