What's on your mind?

If you have some randomness to share that you can't post elsewhere, this is the place to do it.

Ouch. Hope you are fine. About hitting car, my friend hit a duck when we were coming home. It died instantly
Yeah I'm fine literally best case scenario I could imagine considering I flew to his windscreen and destroyed it, I opened my eyes once after getting hit while I flipped 180 degree upside down in the air... Weird sight. No brain damage other than the shock as I wasnt wearing any helmet (and my head was bleeding but it didn't go deep enough) and my spine and neck are fine. It's been a week since that incident happened so I'm pretty ok now.
That's why I use helmet as I'm now cycling in town. But you were lucky as you didn't have helmet and hit your head

So I started in this new place, (one day per week) and I hate it already. And of course the person who I could talk about it is on vacation this week which means I still need to go there next week. What a waste of time.

So I've been working hard to save up for a year in Japan. Been thinking of reviving the give away again when I go. Gotta love giving away stuff :P

If you are lost at the north pole, and they tell you to go north or follow the north star. Where do you go?

A sequel to Zoolander came out this year.

I'm saying this because I'm certain everyone has forgotten this already.

...and probably for the best

I'm still wondering what caused the blackout yesterday morning...
Partly because that blackout (which lasted for maybe 2 hours) has now thrown off most of my week. Currently operating on pretending today is Sunday, because the errands didn't get run yesterday and need to be run now, so I'll do the laundry tomorrow. (I do laundry on Monday, normally.) Blackout took out Archi's sleep machine, and he can't sleep well without it. So he was stuck staying up REALLY late for him. Went and ran the one somewhat time-sensitive errand, and fortunately the power was back by the time we got home.
I need to make up the grocery list....
I have finally started to actually publish my story! For the moment, expect a new chapter each month.

The Case of the Midnight Channel
"When a strange letter summons the Mouri family to Inaba, Ran is expecting a case. She's not expecting it to involve the TV, though.
If Naoto investigated everyone who came to visit Inaba, she'd have little time for real cases. When Yukiko reports that the Midnight Channel is back, however, she starts to wonder if the visitors are connected. Especially when the image clears, unveiling yet another mystery."

Short version: I'm taking various DC/MK characters to Inaba (where Persona 4 takes place) and dropping them through the TV to face their Shadows!

As someone who lives where I live, I would've said that you must've had a hard time in the past....
Now the blackouts last for about 12 or 16 hours a day so just a couple of hours feel like a blessing...

I wanted to take an early bath today and go to bed early because tomorrow is a work day but we need electricity to heat the water for our baths where I live and we had an extra couple of hours added to the current 12h system we have at the moment so right now it's about 10 pm and I'm still stuck waiting for my bath... seems like I'll sleep with my hair wet and hope that I won't catch a cold... again......
Thanks for the SS Kamite! ;D

Prompt: Should we euthanize left hand people? or should we raised them to control better with their right hand at a young age? (This is a joke btw)

I live in a city in the north-east of the US, so a two-hour blackout is a little odd... at least, on a clear day in early October it is. Usually if we get a blackout it's weather-related. At least once a year a blizzard or ice storm will knock out power, usually for at least a day or two. A few years back there was a bad snowstorm about a week before Halloween that knocked out power for a week or more in some parts of the state--the trees hadn't finished dropping their leaves yet, which made the whole thing worse. This one... it wasn't even raining! Probably something like a transformer blew.... little too widespread for "car hit a pole".
