I'm not against Eri and Kogorou reuniting. If somehow they both will manage to get over some small obstacles, then why not?

However until this happens, Kogorou is single and can date any woman he wants, and like I said it is none of Ran's business. This is a yet another reason why I don't like her - she even isn't in a formal relationship with Shinichi, but she keeps calling him or asks for explanations as if she were his wife. She really should start to look at men a little bit differently... Same for Kogorou, he isn't even in a formal relationship with Eri anymore, so is there a single reason why shouldn't he date other women? I don't think so...

Anyway, I should stop now, or Kor again will be mad =P.

Ok, I will stop too, will just give the last explanation. I try to be an "idealist" in romantic stories, so if Eri and Kogoro are destined to reunite by the author, it's better imo if Kogoro stays faithful to the former love that will also be his future one. If he has relationship with somebody else now, the "forever faithful" ideal will be screwed in this case. I am a sucker for romantic books/ childhood sweetheart stories, have browsed through many, and you can't imagine how many ones I have discarded because of characters not being faithful to each other during conflicts or separation. It's not like they "have no right", they do, but this kills the "touching" element in romance imo. It's not so innocent anymore after that.

As for Ran acting like she were Shinichi's wife and being "obsessed" with him, maybe it's kind of grotesque sometimes, but they have grown up together, have already become almost inseparable parts of each other's lives. It's not easy to just cut off from your life somebody with whom you have been together forever and on good terms, whether the relationship is romantic or not

Favourite characters:

1- Haibara Ai: I really love Haibara. The mysterious and cool aura that she gives off makes her really special in this series, PLUS she's a tsundere~~~
2- Amuro Tooru: Dunno but I really find him cute, LOL.
3- Akai/Subaru: So cool with his sniper! His strong determination to take revenge for Akemi and protect Haibara makes him really lovable.


Pissing off characters:

1- Ran: The more I see her, the more I hate her. man, she cries alot!!! In (almost all) the movies, she knows that Shinchi is not beside her but she goes like 'Help me, Shinichi~~~' *SIGH*
2- Jin: Just let Akai send you to hell.

My love/hate list have not changed at all. I still hate Ran, Sonoko and Genta, and love Haibara, Komei and Mitsu.

I don't mind others, also I don't mind Chiba and his love stories. Chiba at times is funny too, so why not. He deserves some love too.

While disagreeing about Ran and Genta, it's good there is somebody who isn't against the Chiba x Naeko story.

But you didn't like Ran since the very beginning or is it because of the late bad use of the character?

I just don't like characters that make a nuisance of themselves. Either intentionally or unintentionally. Ran is like that - she's often mad for no reasons, she screams for no reason, and generally thinks that Shinichi is her pet and must explain himself of every 5 minutes of his absence. She's quite moody and often innocent people (like Kogorou) are hurt because she can't keep her own problems within herself.

Though, the Opening and Endings aren't trying to show her in a better light. Look at the current ending ("Kimi e no Uso" by VALSHE) - Conan tries to tell her something, and what she did? She closed her ears trying to not to hear what Conan has to say. Is this a right behaviour of almost adult woman? However I must say that I love the painful expression of Shinichi's face.

I can tell you didn't watch the episode where Ran refused to listen to Conan, Emm you can't hate that when you didn't even try to know the reason for her to do so ...

The anime ruins most characters in my opinion and makes Genta a trillion times more annoying and idiotic.

Fav:

Gold: Ai Haibara, I think she is the most important piece in the series. Intelligent, tragic story and still, after sooo many episodes, enigmatic and with a lot of stuff to offer.
Silver: Vermouth, she is hot , enigmatic and elegant. Playing two sides and being linked directly to anokata. I love her since her first apparition.
Bronze: Mary, I disliked Sera until Mary appeared. She is most likely linked to Rum and the Miyanos. I like her style and I love the fact that she is actually "babysitted"!


Least fav:


Ran: It´s terrible the evolution of Ran through the series, she is the typical anime girl character. Just the opposite to Haibara. She is too tradicional, not at all complex and I´m just so tired of her as character!
Kazuha: She is even worse than Ran, it´s so stupid when they are together, the series turn out to be sexist. Like the episode in the dracula mansion with Heiji and stuff, men resolving the case and meanwhile girls cook and are scared od ghost...and yes, it´s manga original u.u
Jodie: She is one of the dumbest characters of the series, it´s funny when Akai laughs at her, and she was only cool when I actually though she was Vermouth in disguise.

Favorite:

Haibara: Falling in love with her instantly. Not only moving plot forward but also have tons of depth and so amusing to watch. Her interaction with other character is fantastic. Besides, she is too cute as a child and gorgeous as an adult. She always think for Conan and other before thinking of herself. The definition of "best girl" for me.

Conan: I actually don't like Shinichi and prefer Conan. Conan is too damn cute and funny, especially when he is with Haibara and Heiji. Besides, the voice of Minami Takayama is so legendary.

Amuro: I got Kira vibe from him and I love how he play mind games with Jodie and Camel. An anti-hero is always amusing to watch.

The Nagano trio: They deserve more love. Their cases are always thrilling and of high caliber. Their interaction is also much more mature and realistic.

Dislike:

Ran Mouri: Too boring to watch with character development is closed to non-existent (if not regression) and if you watch anime, her scream in every damn case will get on your nerve and you will be sick with how she is portrayed in OP and ED. Everything from her POV is all about Shinichi. What kinds of character is that?

Kazuha: Ran Mouri version 2 with less screentime. When those 2 got together, it will be a disaster. They will not do anything but cower in fear and scream constantly.

Sera: I am fond of her in the beginning but got bored real fast. If it is not for Akai-Mary stuff, Sera will be another Eisuke for me.
