What's on your mind?

If you have some randomness to share that you can't post elsewhere, this is the place to do it.

There is another Conan game? But is it translated?
They don't translate Conan games officially. I guess we are not big enough of a fandom outside Japan.

I *think* I kind of sort of zero'd in on a research topic. I *think*. Most of the data should be publicly available (read: no "proprietary"/ "classified"/ "unique" datasets) with low frquencies (read: not bank-level data for 630,000 banks).

72 hours to write this literature review. Go Cider \o/

He extended the deadline somewhat. I probably will use it, since I just found a bunch of people who WROTE MY hyping PAPER.

still haven't written the lit review. Thank god for the extension. I have an exact idea of what I'm going to write, the only problem is to actually write ;_;

Also I'm a hyperfocus freak and he said this only need to be a 10-page overview of the literature to give us an idea of our own papers, but I'm going into the weeds with footnotes and history and stuff. I was groomed this way last semester, it's not my fault :((

Pretty sure he meant 10-page double-spaced. My "outline" is at 7 page single-spaced. OOPS. This is why I use footnotes btw - to elaborate on things that needs elaboration but would make it too long

Ok, progress on costume! The puffs are all assembled. Wrist puffs just need the 'buttons' sewn on. Shoulder puffs need the covers sewn on, and the elastic secured, then I have to craft and attach "buttons" for those. Torso is as good as it's going to get for the moment, except for the emblem, which I still haven't quite finished making. Shoe covers need stitching and velcro application. Leg pieces will need further work involving snaps, which I need more practice to put on. Still need to work out the whole antenna thing, including the end-pieces and how to attach them to the bottom of my wig. Speaking of which, I need to buy hairspray because my wig will need to be styled. I also need to locate a wig cap and make at least a little time to practice settling my wig. Oh, and apparently I was suppose to handle making the earpiece for Wizard? Except it's an entirely different shape from Hikaru's. Which still need to get some finishing work done on, including attaching them to the headphones.
Once everything is put together... I have to pack. ~_~* Oh, and it's supposed to snow tomorrow afternoon/evening. I really hope that it lets up before I have to leave for work on Monday... walking through the snow in the dark would totally suck.
I have finally started to actually publish my story! For the moment, expect a new chapter each month.

The Case of the Midnight Channel
"When a strange letter summons the Mouri family to Inaba, Ran is expecting a case. She's not expecting it to involve the TV, though.
If Naoto investigated everyone who came to visit Inaba, she'd have little time for real cases. When Yukiko reports that the Midnight Channel is back, however, she starts to wonder if the visitors are connected. Especially when the image clears, unveiling yet another mystery."

Short version: I'm taking various DC/MK characters to Inaba (where Persona 4 takes place) and dropping them through the TV to face their Shadows!

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

So I hated the pots in my guitar and decided to rewire it last night, right? You know, I actually did a great job. Got all the groundings correct. No hum, everything was perfect.
Then I went and tested the coil tap. The shaft of the push-pull potentiometer CAME OFF. I had a defective part.

Oh my god I just want to pull my hair out and cry

I was alpine skiing today and noticed that I have become old. I had common sense that though it is not good idea to go down hill on skies fast. And I didn't trust in my left knee as I injured it year ago.
On the other hand I didn't break my knee as I stopped it after three hours instead of six
