Merry Christmas everyone!!

It is not supposed to be warm enough to walk around outside without a coat on Christmas Day in New Hampshire. This is absurd. ~_~* Either we're going to get dumped on in February again, or July is going to be beyond miserable. ~_~*

We need to figure out something to do with the PS3. Mostly for what to set it on, because it's going to get moved to the bedroom (not enough HDMI ports to leave it in the living room). We had no plan in place, as we didn't figure we'd get a PS4 for at least another year or two. Archi's brother is apparently working on making up for 10 years of not getting xmas presents for anyone. Although I don't think he realized I'm as much of a gamer as Archi (except not as good at it).
Anyone have some game recommendations? Right now we have some Star Wars games that came bundled with the machine, and some things that work on both PS3 and PS4, but not much else. Oh, and King's Quest. Because King's Quest. And free games with Plus membership.
I have finally started to actually publish my story! For the moment, expect a new chapter each month.

The Case of the Midnight Channel
"When a strange letter summons the Mouri family to Inaba, Ran is expecting a case. She's not expecting it to involve the TV, though.
If Naoto investigated everyone who came to visit Inaba, she'd have little time for real cases. When Yukiko reports that the Midnight Channel is back, however, she starts to wonder if the visitors are connected. Especially when the image clears, unveiling yet another mystery."

Short version: I'm taking various DC/MK characters to Inaba (where Persona 4 takes place) and dropping them through the TV to face their Shadows!

It feels weird that you are wishing Merry Christmas today, as in Finland it's 24th of December when we wish Christmas to each other.
As we start quiet (well not so quiet and as there is all kind of things today) time with family and friends. And it's back from th start of 20th century that it's 24th day when we start. 25th and 26th are marked to calendar as holy (pyhä) days. So it feels weird

Uh, it depends on your preferences. My immediate thought goes to Shovel Knight because Shovel Knight is an awesome video game. But otherwise...uh...

http://www.metacritic.com/browse/games/ ... ?sort=desc

a looooot of games....I cannot tell you the quality of the majority of those ones tbh. Some research might be required. But some quick descriptions for a few of them.

The Last of Us Remastered: Slow, emotional zombie shooter game.
Bloodborne: Monster Hunter on Super Hard difficulty and if done by HP Lovecraft.
Rayman Legends: Awesome multiplayer platformer despite objectively being worse than the Wii U version.
Shovel Knight: Melee weapon Megaman
The Talos Principal: Intellectual Portal
Towerfall Ascension: Apparently one of the greatest multiplayer games of our time
OlliOlli2: Skateboarding equivalent of Bloodborne
Life is Strange: High School drama simulator
Rocket League: Car Soccer (not a joke)
Axiom Verge: Literally just Metroid
Resogun: Spaceship shooter
Assassin's Creed: Black Flag: The best pirate game, if nothing else
Tales from the Borderlands: Comedy story game
Child of Light: JRPG, except not Japanese
Guilty Gear Xrd: Anime fighting game or whatever
Let's Play Bioshock Infinite: https://forums.dctp.ws/viewtopic.php?f= ... 94#p879594

I got Steam gift cards for my Christmas so I got a few games I'd been meaning to get for a while, including The Stanley Parable and Papers, Please... and haven't touched any of them because my brother also bugged me into getting Civilization V because it was on sale with all expansions for like £8.50 and I caN'T STOP UNTIL I TAKE OVER THE WORLD DAMMIT I'M ONLY IN THE SIXTEENTH CENTURY I DON'T EVEN HAVE NAVIGATION YET

Well L.A. Noire is only 6 euros at least in Finland.
I was going to buy more than just that but I have problems with buying so I would be pleased with only that

Spoiler: star wars stuff
I liked the Force Awakens more when it was called A New Hope. :V
In general, I had mixed feelings about it.
Iwamoto Yuri wrote:So I went to see Star Wars today, which did a lot of things right the prequels failed at, and it was definitely interesting....

But the ending...

A cliffhanger.
A FREAKING CLIFFHANGER.

I get the feeling this isn't going to be the last movie in the Star Wars franchise XD.
Spoiler:
Not entirely sure I'd call it a cliffhanger (other than the fact that last scene took place on a cliff). The overarching objective was to complete the map and finding Luke. And Luke was found, so the goal of this one plotline was achieved. It is a non-conclusive scene, though.
