Well, my wife came out to her conservative-Christian parents this summer. The shit hit fan.

They blame me - as in, they believe my queerness is like a toxin queering up everyone around me. That I somehow turned her into a lesbian with my evil seducing queerness or something. I know that it doesn't make any sense, and I know that they're really hyped up and ignorant on sex, gender identity, and sexuality. That doesn't make their accusations hurt any less.
My DC Fanfic: Awaking and Arising - Shiromi writes her version of the end of the series. With 100% more lesbians and immortal zombie boys. And existential crises. Lots of them.
Kogorou - A character study that seeks to answer the question: Why is Kogorou the way he is?
A Kindred Spirit - Sonoko and Makoto realize that they have more in common than previously realized.
DC Fanfic Rants

So I went to see Star Wars today, which did a lot of things right the prequels failed at, and it was definitely interesting....

But the ending...

A cliffhanger.
A FREAKING CLIFFHANGER.

I get the feeling this isn't going to be the last movie in the Star Wars franchise XD.

Sure, though it doesn't actually spoil the movie...
But if you'd rather have me cover it then I will <.<

Hmm... I wonder if we should have a fanfiction help thread in the forums. For different fanfics in progress and planning stage. Writers could ask opinions from others and such without spoiling the plot... I can't really explain this...

Ugh, I hate that. Why did people stop making complete movies? I have no interest in seeing an incomplete story. =/
Having a sequel is fine. Teasing a sequel is fine. But give me a complete story, by Jove.
(No actual spoilers, 'cause I haven't seen the movie)

It's because the stories people have in mind can't fit in one movie... unless you want to see films so long the LOTR Extended Editions would blush.
“Life is infinitely stranger than anything which the mind of man could invent. We would not dare to conceive the things which are really mere commonplaces of existence. If we could fly out of that window hand in hand, hover over this great city, gently remove the roofs, and and peep in at the queer things which are going on, the strange coincidences, the plannings, the cross-purposes, the wonderful chains of events, working through generations, and leading to the most outre results, it would make all fiction with its conventionalities and foreseen conclusions most stale and unprofitable.”
“Education never ends... it is a series of lessons, with the greatest for the last.”
― Arthur Conan Doyle, The Complete Adventures of Sherlock Holmes and His Last Bow
