Chris Benoit killed his family and then himself, what part of that redeemed him?

Re: real life criminals who actually redeemed themselves
well actually this topic is to show you that not all criminals are always evil, real and fictional and if some of them commit a suicide* is for remorse, and if we put all our efforts we can make the world better, to be idealistic.
look at japan for example, the ministry of justice of japan has the mission to reintegrate, reform and rehabilitate the inmates of the prisons of the country, thanks to their harsh dicipline and order, so it's no wonder why japan is one of the safest countries on earth.
WE WANT A BETTER WORLD OR WHAT?
that's what i learned from detective conan.
*a thing that i disagree.

Suicide isn't a form of remorse. If anything it's a way to avoid remorse or any form of repercussions that would come thier way.
And of the names you listed that I checked they all seem to be kid killers, one of which killed two and only served 10 years for it.
There is no redeeming in the events I read or even attempts at redemption.
And reforming and rehabilitating prisoners is the goal for most prisons around the world. It just doesn't tend to work in most cases.
So you're point of the topic seems to what? Murderers going free makes the world a better place?
(Why am I feeding the troll?)

Re: real life criminals who actually redeemed themselves
according to jean Jacques Rousseau not all humans are irredeemably evil, there's some good in humanity no matter what crime they did, just they have to prove that they have a heart inside and compassion, while i don't agree that suicide should be the solution there's always a third option.
maybe Hitler, Stalin, bin laden, etc are homicidal monsters, but that doesn't mean that all humanity are like them.
and by the way not all murderers love to murder people, some of them want a better life without killing anyone again.
COME ON, DON'T BE PESSIMISTS!!!!
all we have to do is look the things and people on the right side.

Re: real life criminals who actually redeemed themselves
what's that supose to mean?
and what i mean't to say is that Jacques Rousseau said "humanity is never borned evil, corruption makes them that way"
and that quote has a lot in common on detective conan's culprits.
humans are flawed, but that doesn't mean they should be evil forever, it's up to justice to reform them no matter how hard it is.
ps: and by the way kkslider5552000, don't treat star butterfly that way, i'm sure she would approbe my methods of justice, because is for the greater good.

Re: real life criminals who actually redeemed themselves
All humans have the ability to do terrible things, it's just up to the person to decide if they do or not. In either case if they deserve to be part of society or not fully depends on the situation...
Some people enjoy hurting people and animals, and people like those should not have the right to walk free once they've been caught for their crimes.
Some try to do right but use the wrong method (like KID, for example). People who act like that deserve the chance to see that what they did was wrong even if they tried doing the right thing.
Then some do things without realising the effect on others because they are desperate or emotional, resulting in them eventually regretting their actions. Naturally they deserve redemption.
Either way, it's naive to think people will always be like the characters in Detective Conan, where they regret killing their victim once they heard the truth like most of them seem to do. Some humans just like hurting people becaue they lack a sense of compassion and I'd rather not have killers like those back on the streets..
