Episode 781: The Scarlet Intersection

OKIYA SUBARU'S POINTLESS CAMEOS EPISODE 33: Happy Delivery Man : DDDDDDDDDDDD (I missed this)

Wow. Gosho almost NEVER does this. It's an entire episode JUST for the plot. And they built a mystery into it so well from the last case, I love it. I don't even have a ton to say. Bourbon outsmarted Conan, and I am so happy about this. Everything is now ****ed. I'm sure somehow things will work fine in the end but right now there's a lot of danger here, and I am excited. And seriously, just having so much focus on the FBI and Vermouth and Bourbon is so great. Just the voice acting alone, especially from Vermouth, is just the coolest.

I have little to say, it's just build up to Bourbon revealing everything. Fun. Yusaku thing in the background makes me think this might finally be some grand finale for this arc. About time.

Only other thing I'll say, I like how they used the 2007 soundtrack a lot in this. It's like they realize "we have to use the best stuff we have."

Just the voice acting alone, especially from Vermouth, is just the coolest.

I loved how Vermouth changed her voice and returned to her own when she said "Arigatou" to Camel. It was kinda beauty.

So far having only watched 781, I kinda find the pacing to be not that good. Plus I kinda feel that the anime people (besides some animation and music quirks) aren't really excited about this, but perhaps I'm just projecting.

I might do what some other people did and just watch the rest raw. Tomorrow 782 will get subbed, but I more or less remember the translation of the end of this case by heart, so I'll probably just watch 783 raw.

Episode 782 – The Scarlet Return

This is so exciting! I have a couple of worries about the endgame of this arc but right now I am loving this. Also tbh, the significant time difference (even in-universe) makes it far more believable that Conan could come up with...whatever this plan is over the absurd amount of thought that went into his initial plan with Akai. But this is all cool to me, I have no idea how the hype all of this works but I'm loving it. Also, I love Camel's reaction at the end. He's so happy about this!

Okay but Akai and her are still linked to the BO and Akemi, I mean I expected at least a little appearance. Showing us she knows what's happening or if Conan didn't want to tell her, that she's asking herself questions (or worming out of Agasa)

I'm not telling that it is bad for not putting her in those episodes, just sayin' it's uncommon.
