Though I was a bit disappointed that Ai's efforts were in vain. D:
It was....Okay? Honestly as soon as everything was reviled, the whole thing just became silly. >_>
Nah, at least You had the option to see how skilled is Conan at pretending to be dead xD. I don't think it was that bad, and even Ai got some serious action.
The only thing that spoiled this anime very much was Ran's shitty behaviour. And people are wondering why nobody likes her... watch the Disappearance of Conan Edogawa special and You will know why.
One reason I actually liked this special is because of the screentime Ai and the professor gets. It actually shows that Conan has really capable allies who showed that he's not the only one who can get the job done. In contrast with Ran's portrayal though... :V

So this has been the week of surprises. Monday was surprise doctor appointment, today was surprise friends visiting. Tuesday was the biggest surprise, though.
Keeper and I went out and about to run some errands: pharmacy, mall, drop off rent check, bank. My mother had kept texting me about when she could drop by to give me the shorts she picked up for me a week ago (they didn't have the right size/colour combination at the shop I was at, and the one near my Mom did have that size in the colour I needed, so I got her to pick them up for me). I was a little confused by her determination to get them to me 'today', as I'd be able to get them Thursday per normal visit (which was supposed to happen last week, only Archi had a fever). I kept getting "Are you done with errands yet? Let me know when you're on your way home" which was a bit WTF? but whatever. Mom is weird like that sometimes, so I didn't really think much of it.
When we finally headed home (bank stuff took like an hour, and I sat in the car rather than going in, but all my devices were out of batteries) there was a red SUV-ish looking car ahead of us with out-of-state (but still reasonably local) plates. As it pulled into the driveway for our building, I figured it was someone going to the business next door that shares the driveway. And then the vehicle backed up into our parking spot and didn't look like it was gonna move, so I got out to yell at the driver. "Hey! That's our spot, you can't park there!" Driver obligingly moves, and we pull into our spot as normal. I text Mom to let her know I'm back home as Keeper gets out. I busy myself gathering purse, shopping bags, and cane, and then suddenly Keeper yells "You don't want to do that." I turn and look up to see what upset her, and there's a skinny dude in a black T-shirt walking over--the driver from the red car. He looks oddly familiar, and after a couple seconds I realize that yeah, I do know the guy. I've known him for decades: most of my life and all of his. Thing is, he lives over a thousand miles (more than 2500 km) away. "Dude! What are you doing up here?" I haven't seen my oldest brother since last year. He'd also cut his hair, which had been nearly as long as mine and now looks more like Amuro-kun's except about eight shades darker.
Then I let him surprise Archi when he got back from work. I went to open the outer door for Archi when I saw him coming up the stairs to the porch, but I let him go into the flat before me. He was surprised. n.n There was a stranger in the kitchen... except that's not actually a stranger. So that was a fun evening. We spent a bit of time catching up and then went out to dinner with most of my family (middle bro didn't come because work, I think).
Shingo (the brother I so rarely see) assures me that he'll be back up for Anime Boston next year. I'd like to go, if I can manage to afford it, but I'm not sure I can.
I have finally started to actually publish my story! For the moment, expect a new chapter each month.
"When a strange letter summons the Mouri family to Inaba, Ran is expecting a case. She's not expecting it to involve the TV, though.
If Naoto investigated everyone who came to visit Inaba, she'd have little time for real cases. When Yukiko reports that the Midnight Channel is back, however, she starts to wonder if the visitors are connected. Especially when the image clears, unveiling yet another mystery."
Short version: I'm taking various DC/MK characters to Inaba (where Persona 4 takes place) and dropping them through the TV to face their Shadows!
I had this thought recently (yesterday, I think). The animation in the cartoons for kids are starting to look more like the cartoons for adults, and vise versa. Frankly, that scares me a bit :x

I decided to make a fun little forum game. Would like a couple more people to post, so that it's more of an actual competition of sorts. It involves making silly answers for random Conan related questions. Fun! Maybe?!
