Haven't read it for the most part but if it's all like episodes 86 and 113 than that's still slightly better than the recent AO output...

I always think that if the anime team can put in more effort, they can actually write great cases. Back when I was first catching up on the anime, I didn't even know that Cursed Mask and Seance case were AOs because of its sheer brilliancy. I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks so.

Now, if they could bring back the writers who were in charge of that... :V

I know I'm late to this and I do hope he recovers ok, but had to comment on the AO eps mentioned. The seance one anyway. When I saw that ep, I was wondering if it was a lost manga chapter. It was really good.

@chart13happy: doubt it. Did some rough calculations and if they don't stuff AOs or remasters it'd take at least until January to air all the cases. But there WILL be AOs and remasters so... They'll stall for time and wait for neww files to be published again.

Not really. The manga is still 11-13 months away from the anime like it's been for many years. While it's true that "manga-wise", the anime will be less than 30 "files" away from the manga by the end of the month, the anime can always do more AOs and remasters. The studio seems smart enough to not catch up to the manga.
It is going to be a bit interesting to see how the anime will handle the extreme lack of new content from the manga, though.

The case with Ran chasing after a girl who was trying to reunite 2 statues (angel mom and baby?). Conan fell down the stairs and hurt his leg so they went to some hot springs to help it heal, and Heiji and Kazuha are there for whatever reason (I'm still not really sure why...).
