my saddest case was "the diamond, the paint, and the great actress" the rich bich (misuzu shirakawa) vilely ofended chiharu shirakawa (the culprit), but kogoro/conan told her that in a family is not about hard work, it's about being a united family and what she did was unexcusable and evil, chiharu regretfully weeps loudly for what she have done.

and that it's not the only case that makes me feel sorry for the culprit.

ps: that episode is 729, watch it if you want.

Spoiler:
That's the "killed over an honorific" episode?

Yes.

I’ll teach you this old song so you can sing along

my other saddest case is the roller coaster murder case, even the crime was gruesome (decapitation) the culprit a young girl with long blonde hair feel remorse about what she have done, since then i noticed that other culprits confess their motive rants in tears, and sometimes even after confessing they cry, that's why i feel sorry for DC culprits.

Sachi wrote:The episode where that stalker was killed. It hurts, knowing that she was arrested. Even Conan himself agrees judging by what he said at the ending
Which one is that?

In my opinion the saddest murder cases are
1) sealed bathroom case (files 197-199)
Spoiler:
a woman kills her sister and it's so sad when she realises how stupid what she has done is
2) the spider mansion case (files 246-250)
Spoiler:
a woman committed suicide because of the worst misunderstanding ever! She mistook the man who loved her so dearly's admiration for a wish of death And the man didn't know it, and avenged her death. And at the end when Heiji shouted "YOU'RE THE REASON SHE KILLED HERSELF” that was heart breaking.

that's the reason why i feel sorry for them, and i hope they get a merciful punishment.
real life murderers should learn from DC culprits and they will get a reduced sentence of prison and the world would be a little bit better. :|
