What a nice day! I was listening to the Hero Quest OST (I even didn't know Hero Quest had a NES game!), and the music was quite familiar to me. Checked who composed the OST... Neil Baldwin. Checked to what other games he wrote music for... Magician, Jungle Book and James Bond Jr. And everything was clear now!

Dad and I finally fixed my computer! \o/ As soon as I can afford it I'll buy a power cord to my external harddrive and then I can transfer all files from the laptop to it and then reinstall it so it possibly will stop freezing every five minutes

Watching trailer of the next Conan movie, and ended up with watching the 6th movie (Baker Street) again... But it was quite fun, especially to see Conan's hopeless situations' face expressions. Kind of reminds me (again) of this:

A complaint to the whole world: my hard disk which contained all the mods for the game "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" has died, the computer doesn't see it anymore and I don't even remember the names of the mods I had prepared, so I don't even know which ones I should re-download. Took such a long time to select and choose them among others, and now this...

I made video testing out the use of After Effects audio and video editing. See how I can time things in. Was fun making this to be honest. And now for more future projects.

So my phone died this morning. It started wigging out last night, then got worse this morning, and finally managed to pretty much brick itself a little before it was time to leave for the day of errands. This necessitated an extra stop--at the mall to visit the phone shop. Phone shop employees agreed with me that the phone is Nope. Choices: go without phone for at least one day (my work day) while fix attempt is made; upgrade and walk out with new phone. Called Mom (on Archi's phone) for advice because I was having trouble deciding. Mom helped me go over the merits of each option and decide to go with the new phone. Sent Archi to go pick up lunch while I got the whole setup thing dealt with. Still trying to figure out what's what with the phone.
Old phone was an Alcatel One Touch Fierce. (Not a good phone, I had it because it was cheap. Thing is, it's cheap.) New phone is Samsung Galaxy Avant, which I am told is basically the 'mini' version of the Galaxy S4. My brother has an S4 and likes it, so I was inclined to go with that line. The Avant was about half the price of the S4, so cost concerns won out over specifics.
I have now picked out a case (and screen protector) to order from Amazon. I haven't quite decided what to name the phone, though.... needs something sufficiently geeky.
