Same. It was the worst opening I have seen in years. Usually when a new opening comes out, I am watching them again and again in the following days, but not now. I watched it a few times the first day, thinking that I may change my opinion, but it did not happen. Then I tried again a few days later... still awful. Even 100 mono tobira was more interesting to watch...

The song was really good....but the op video.........I was waiting full of excitement for the BO to appear.......but not even sera was there.......ofc asking for amuro is apparently too much but not even SERA appeared....!

This song was wasted in such lacking op video, but at least it was better than op 39 video! 6.5/10

I honestly hope this opening doesn't last long, and that it'll just be for the fillers, or that it will at least have different version for the scarlet series, well, it's not totally impossible for openings to last 5-10 episodes, since quite a few DC openings lasted a few amount of episodes.

I don't know about that. Ever since Revive six years ago, no opening was used for under 10 episodes. I'd expect this to last until after the Scarlet Arc tbh. But one never knows for sure.

OP22 worked because 'Clash of red and black' was quite long. They're not gonna make an opening filled with Sera, Amuro etc. just because they are involved in a case which will last 4 or 5 episodes out of the 15-20 the opening will be used for.

Am I the only one that wishes they'd just decide to make a big budget OP and stick with it for like, 300 episodes, as opposed to like, 40 OPs at random intervals?

Just saying, lately OPs have begun to feel kinda lazy. But, it's expected when you have over 40 openings on a long-spanned show. I say we just make a high quality one and be done with it. DC is no stranger to great music, so it should be easy.

Not really. The newest Hunter X Hunter anime did the same song for the entire series and it was absolutely dreadful after the...80th+ time. Variety is the spice of life.

But, yes, you're right. I wouldn't trade DC's variety for the world. It's just that some of these OPs have been tad shabby, and I thought sticking for one high quality OP is the best solution right now.

As an avid Breakerz fan, and Breakerz is what got me into Detective Conan, I like this opening. But as of some said before, I do miss Dynamite. It was one of those openings that sort of grow on you after listening to it a few times. (Also, I'm not sure if anyone else decided to give Mai Kuraki's 2014 live a watch, but when she singed Dynamite live, it was absolutely amazing.)

And as for the animation... I know this may sound a bit strange to most of you, when it comes to animation, it doesn't really matter much to me at all really. I don't mind the animation at all, so I don't care for it much. What only really matters to me is whether it's interesting or not. I liked Dynamite because I really enjoyed the song. So, this opening is just as good. I like the song, and the PV is really awesome.
