Ep 768: "Ai Haibara Imprisoment Case"
Haibara goes missing. Conan and the DB follow her traces.
Truth is, Haibara finds (can't read the surname Kanji, sorry) Mitsuru's cat, and the owner lives
in the district. When she goes to return it to the household, she's dragged inside by someone
and put to sleep. When she wakes up, she sees Mitsuru tied up in a mirror! Haibara plots
about escaping somehow, but is put to sleep again. When she wakes up again...

Ep 769: The Troublesome Emergency Patient
A man being chase by the police suddenly takes Ayumi as hostage!
However, the man soon faints. In a close by hospital's ER, emergency physician Kido Tatsuhiko and nurse Morita Natsumi take care of the healing.
The man's ID is unknown, but amongst his personal belongings there were a compilation of newspapers clips about a (sorry, can't read the kanji) case that's an ongoing topic.
Kogorou and Megure think that he might be related to the incident, so the police gets on the move to handle that.
Ayumi, on the meanwhile...

So, I don't know if I'm allowed to vent my anger here, seeing as no topic was started for these episodes, and I felt no need to make one for this short, but...


Without going into spoilers, episode 768, that I just watched was a successful attempt of a 12-year old at blackmailing the studio into making his fanfiction, without ever reading the manga, or watching the anime, a reality. Seriously, the first time I read what the title was, I had a chilly feeling down my spine, that it will be utterly bad. To sum it up, this story put Gosho in the hospital last December, otherwise I don't think he would let his source material butchered this much.

Since it's an AO, I am honestly fine with this as long as I'm entertained by it.

Horribad fanfiction would at least be more fun than the average 1 episode AO.
