In the end this special will be airing a few days before the 21st anniversary of the manga and the 19th anniversary of the anime. Weird for a 20th anniversary special. Hopefully they have something in mind for january 2016.

Finally Haibara got something to do again, at some point it was almost as if Haibara is the main character. ;D

First reviews seem mostly positive from what I've seen. Maybe they should let the guy write the annual movies...

I honestly would assume the reviews have been positive for most of the movies for whatever reason (not necessarily because of actual quality).

Regardless, this is an odd time to say that since the last two Conan movies were actually really good (last year's Conan movie was also pretty good)!

I really liked the special.
The script was written by soneone else compared to the regulars so it's a bit different.
It's not a movie so it doesn't have the action; similar to Conan vs. Lupin the tv special.

I think I enjoyed it more because the trailer was lame so I didn't have high expectatons.
