It is basically a "metroidvania" game. Kept in the retro style, it is an adventure game in which one can reveal more map with each new ability they unlock. I think everybody that likes old good Castlevania games (SotN, AoS, CotM &c) will also like this game.

I've been interested in getting into Dragon Age because I loved Mass Effect so much, but it seems like too much of a time investment from what I understand. Especially since I've not had the best luck of getting into fantasy stories like this.
Just finished a Platinum nuzlocke. Spent most of the E4 challenge worrying about Cynthia, especially her Spiritomb and Garchomp. Then it turned out that my Floatzel is a BAMF with Blizzard and took out both of them, nae tother a baw. NO DEATH YYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Decided to replay FF12, after some hours of playing I turned it off since I had to do other stuff, then when I returned I noticed the old save files that had 206+ hours of gameplay :x
nom and I played together and we were very carefully to not miss a single thing, trained like crazy, so it isn't really that odd but my reaction was still "Whoa o.O "
And I really need to finish Magna Carta and Dark Chronicle ^^'
Conclusion: "This area is full of crap" and "It's a nasty place!"

Unfortunately it's one of those games that gets tedious/repetitive after awhile. Not to mention I keep getting distracted from playing the actual story missions.
Thankfully it's not as distracting as Saints Row 2, I haven't gotten far in that game at all.

We are on the same game, then! XD
