There's no rule saying you can't vote Kaldra. However, it is frowned upon to kick someone new out of the game this early.

If you have reason to believe he's evil, you should go for it, but if it really is random as you say, it's not a nice thing to do.

Maybe you'd reconsider? I'm not saying he's not evil, I've no idea, really. But I always thought we had a general policy of cutting the newbies some slack in the beginning. And Kaldra was already killed N1 in his first minimafia game. What's he supposed to think of us? :x

I've made my decision, I may or not vote today. Even if I made the decision to vote somebody, it'll be totally random, only because the game has just begun, aaand none of us seems to get some leads of DA's killer.

Alright, after going through the random generator for 5 times in a row, the results I got was :

I vote Stopwatch for using sophistry in her arguments. Initially that was my second choice but I'll go with Fuji.

My other choice would have been Yuri Iwamoto for trying to dissuade discussion here "I think we should try random voting for now... there's really not much to discuss at this point, is there?"

Maybe in a more active game the quieter ones are more likely to be Werewolves, but in one with this level of activity I would find it more likely for the Werewolves to post tbh, though I'm keeping it to random in my head because the level of error is too high to make this a rule. Werewolves will be wary of people thinking they're lurking so they may post; they only actually tend to lurk that much in a way more active game where they would have to expend a lot of effort maintaining the facade of Towniness. At least IMO. My point is, voting lurkers will achieve little at this stage.

Evading valid points is a classic sophistry technique. Here:

I don't see how the fool contacting random people helps the wolves more that the real seer contacting real villagers.

Fine then. *Everyone* should contact other people so it doesn't become apparent who the Seer is and whoever thinks they have the role 'Seer' should make sure not to forget they could be the Fool.

That isn't really an answer to my point. I can't see it as a compromise that takes both your and my point into account, either. Which makes it a deflection. Seeing you were a villager, it probably wasn't intended as one.

The results will be random. What you're saying is basically that a broken clock is right twice a day and really, would you rely on a broken clock to tell the time?

That also seems to get around Miyano's point, which was that even random alliances that are not guaranteed to be composed of villagers may help because they will create more interaction.

You certainly can reply after the game is over, if you wish. However, someone else still alive may also want the same clarification you asked for, which makes it relevant to the game, which is why I posted it in the thread now.
