New HxH arc is full of strange things that even the author doesn't understand.

The new land probably is so dangerous and inhabited by unknown creatures, so all the people either died or went mad. Which could suggest that Nen there is something quite common, or the power of that land is even stronger than Nen itself. I cannot imagine hunters - who are well trained, and who can use "like-a-magic Nen) - turning mad. Nen is like a magic, what's even worse than Nen?

The HxH manga was on hiatus for centuries, a few times, and when it finally resumed, it's again divided by breaks.

So yeah, "so it begins"...

This post on ANN almost gave me a heart attack.. And then I read the next line. Bloody hell guys, just write BREAK when it's for such a short time, especially with someone like Togashi-sensei

There has also been quite a lot of text in the recent chapters. I got tired halfway through every chapter because of it. Guess there's a lot to explain before the action begins Still looking forward to whatever the new continent has in store for everyone

So I wonder if the anime is straight up ending soon. I mean the manga is back but how much can the anime get from it in the long run?

Depends, they still have to do the Election Arc at least. In fact they might end the series "when Gon meets Ging at the top of the mountain" and do nothing in the next 10 years when the Dark Continent Arc will end.

Episode 131 was getting a lot of hype I saw and it's one of the first episodes that's beyond what I've read in the manga. I think the hype was mostly accurate. That was super important and awesome. But...

The turning into an adult part of his NotSuperSaiyan transformation was dumb. I can't take it seriously, which is pretty impressive for shonen. And honestly I think super angry Gon as is was vastly more intimidating. Like it seemed like he was gonna become the most cold and evil person in the show at points. Also, not Pitou!

Pouf might be the most compelling villain in the series. I absolutely love all his ideas and plans right now.
