Well, I agree that it can sometimes be disturbing that she gets tossed away, hopefully she'll find out by herself but stay quiet about it and, in the BEST case scenario, help him in the shadows! I REALLY WISH THAT WOULD HAPPEN, her character development would improve tenfold! !! /(^▼^)/XCrownLessKingX wrote:Great point and i see what u mean I just feel bad with her always being left in the dark. I can sympathize with ran sometimes it someone u were close to only gave u a few phone calls and u do not know where they are and if they are alright I would be sad to. Its just that some characters found out jimmy identity with circumstantial evidence in DC or he told them.I think jimmy saying its for her own saftey is a lie since she in danger most of the time anyway. I personally think he lies and decives her because he does not think she could handle it and does not see her as an equal.brycec wrote:As I stated in this tread earlier, her actions in Deseparate Revival arc tell a different story. Her actions would let on to the fact that Conan is Jimmy. Vermouth does a better job hiding that piece of info than Rachel does.XCrownLessKingX wrote:Does Jimmy not trust ran with his s identity or something because i feel like there is no point in hiding it anymore. Lately I been feeling like if ran knew she would stop crying and worrying about him and stop hindering him during cases.
She certainly did not hinder Jimmy's investigation in volume 14, when she found out Jimmy's secret, but she also almost sent him back home, whereby he loses his current base of operations, though with his feats against Kaito Kuroba, people might take him more seriously if he went back to his place, but people would still find it weird seeing a child living alone.
(Not exact quote): "even if she does keep it for herself, little by little, eventually she'll stop smiling". Shinichi believes that a secret like that will not only endanger her, if the BO finds out about her awarness, but also hurt her even more. Because ran has caring personality, she'd try to take action even if it would risk her life but because it will also risk the lives of the people around her, she'll have to keep this heavy burden of feeling powerless for herself. Though it is true that shinichi lack the ability to have faith on ran, that she'll understand the circumstances he's in and help the least way possible without feeling burdened, because she's the dearest person to him, he won't take small chances with risks of that the BO might found about her awareness of their existence. Sure, I sound like I'm defending conan, but I'd probably do the same, if I was on his position, if my close ones would be endangered if they knew.

The manga is ahead of the anime.XCrownLessKingX wrote:Is the DC manga father ahead than the anime or it does not matter
Once a case was published in the manga, about a year later (more or less) the anime will adapt it into episodes.

If you want to get faster to the point of the manga, then go for it if you want. Just if you do so, make sure to get into the manga at the right spot (as in, the last case you reached to in the anime and its correlating case in the manga).XCrownLessKingX wrote:so should i just stop watching the anime and jump into the manga
Or you can both watch the anime and read the manga, which a lot of people do too.

I kind of agree with this statement, but as far as getting into the manga at the right spot, I would say start with volume 1, if you only watched the first 123 episodes. Cases tend to happen at different times between the manga and anime, so if you were at the twin murder case that occurred in the last few episodes of the 1-123 range, you would miss Haibara introduction.Kor wrote:If you want to get faster to the point of the manga, then go for it if you want. I love watching DC and all Just watched the bell train arc brillant by the way so does that mean the show will keep going all the way past 1000 episodes because it took a while to get to the end of Bourbon arc

That is unknown at this time. After all, Bleach has hundred of chapters and the anime there was postponed and the Inuyasha manga went quite far, but the anime was postponed at around 167. Chances may be high that DC will get 1000+ episodes, but that is as long as it does well.XCrownLessKingX wrote:I love watching DC and all Just watched the bell train arc brillant by the way so does that mean the show will keep going all the way past 1000 episodes because it took a while to get to the end of Bourbon arc

The problem with Bleach is the same as Hajime no Ippo, the chapters during fights don't have enough content at all. The animation team just threw 5 chapter episodes during the Fullbring arc and caught up to the manga completely and that's also when the anime ended (right now Bleach is 114 chapters ahead the anime, and that's like 26 episodes with good pacing though some chapters can be stretched). It's just double spread pages of single cool moments like Ippo rushing in or Kenpachi getting his Shikai etc like every second chapter at least. Also the moments usually just go back in time next chapter to show the same scene from another perspective. I remember when it took 5 chapters to throw one punch in Ippo.

Wrong, canon is part of the original work. Movies technically are not cannon.XCrownLessKingX wrote:I have a question canon means not related to the story right but in DC episode 742 there was a flashback of moments in movie 16

No, movies are not canon. Also, according to DCW, episode 742 is not canon either.XCrownLessKingX wrote:oh k so what happens in the DC movies is also part of the story
