Um.... I was copying this to send it to my job-search coach...
I have finally started to actually publish my story! For the moment, expect a new chapter each month.

The Case of the Midnight Channel
"When a strange letter summons the Mouri family to Inaba, Ran is expecting a case. She's not expecting it to involve the TV, though.
If Naoto investigated everyone who came to visit Inaba, she'd have little time for real cases. When Yukiko reports that the Midnight Channel is back, however, she starts to wonder if the visitors are connected. Especially when the image clears, unveiling yet another mystery."

Short version: I'm taking various DC/MK characters to Inaba (where Persona 4 takes place) and dropping them through the TV to face their Shadows!

I think worker cooperatives are the best business set-up out there because they allow for close-knit teams of people who are all working towards the same goal, since everyone gets to take part in the benefits that come from growing the business. The business model benefits both customers and employees, since customers will receive top-notch service from employees who know that their customers pay their paycheck. In other words, pride of ownership that comes from working in a co-op can drive profits that benefits all employees and encourages them to work together to expand the business even further.

Er.... something for a job application. ~_~*

Almond Pie Crust Recipe

1 cup ground almond meal (processed almonds)
3/4 cup light brown or cane sugar
1 medium egg, beaten
1/2 teaspoon almond or vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon fine salt
a dash of spice - cinnamon or nutmeg

Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Grease and GF-flour a 9-inch glass pie plate; or use a greased and GF-floured tart pan.

In a mixing bowl, mix together the ground almonds, sugar, egg, extract, salt & spice. Spread the almond mixture into the pie plate and press lightly (with moist fingertips) to form a crust.

Bake the crust for 10 minutes, check to see the shape of it, and using a silicone or vinyl spatula, lightly press down any high puffy areas; resume baking for another 2 to 5 minutes, until the crust is firm. Place on a wire rack and again press down the shape to flatten, if needed.

Cool before filling. The crust will get crisper as it cools.

Pie crust recipe. I so wish the printer would cooperate so I could print this out, but at least I managed to save it to a notepad file for printing later....

Great to serve with a Holiday meal. These Peaches are almost too beautiful to eat, they are the perfect festive relish for meats. A simple yet quick recipe, where no canning is involved for old fashioned goodness!
Ingredients

3 peaches
* 2 cups water
* 1/2 cup red wine vinegar
* 1/4 cup red wine
* 2 tablespoons honey
* 1/2 teaspoon peppercorns
* 4 cloves
* 2 allspice berries
* 1/2 stick cinnamon
* 1 bay leaf

How to make it

To peel the peaches, lower them a few at a time into boiling water for a minute or so, and immediately refresh them in a bath of ice water.
When cool, use a paring knife to remove the skins, which should come off easily.
Cut the peaches in half and remove the pits.
If you have cling peaches (rather than free-stone), the flesh won't slip away from the pit to make nice halves, so you'll need to cut the fruit off the pit.
To make the pickling solution, combine the water, vinegar, wine, honey, peppercorns, cloves, allspice, cinnamon and bay leaf in a heavy-bottomed pot or saucepan.
Bring to a boil, reduce the heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
Add the peach segments and cook just until tender, 3 to 5 minutes: test with a toothpick or sharp knife.
(Make sure the peaches are cooked through or they will turn brown.)
Carefully remove the peaches with a slotted spoon; they will be quite delicate.
Let the pickling mixture cool slightly and then strain over the peaches. **Cover and refrigerate overnight or for up to a week.**
**Please note: Peach leaves can be toxic and should not be used in this recipe. **

Er.... more moving recipes to something I can print out. My brother is into Spice and Wolf and wants to try this. I've gotten into canning, so I am up for making it.

VY Canis Majoris is around 4,000 to 5,000 light years from Earth in the constellation of Canis Major.
It is the largest known star in the Milky Way galaxy.
VY Canis Majoris is a red hypergiant with a radius up to 2,000 times larger than the sun.
Hypergiant stars such as VY Canis Majoris are extremely rare in our galaxy, in fact most stars in the Milky Way are smaller than the sun

....yeeah.
