It was bad enough mom decided she was going to clean my room, but... What the heck?! Who in their right mind goes through their almost 21 year old daughter's bag and takes everything out of it?! >:(

...now I don't even know where I could possibly find my debit card, let alone those hard candies I bought with my own money for when I need the sugar. >_>

(And apparently her justification is that "we need to keep the place clean"... Argh, how about you clean your own room, you hypocrite. >_>)

@ Hime-chan: I think you should do what you think it is right, whether more experienced people do it or not. I am sure that you will be a special teacher ;)

Went to the vet with my to cats yesterday for a routine shot. Everything went well even though they hating riding the car so it hurt to listen to them. But since I recently discovered a weird lump next to one cat's "thumb" they were nice enough to take a look on it as well.
Spoiler: in case of sensitive people
Hope was that it would just be full of pus and that they could just empty it. But it was just some weird lump and they weren't sure on what it was. And it bled quite a lot. Also taking long to heal, though not bleeding as much afterwards.
And watching her during the examination was awful, but it is not like I could go away. But since it didn't look good they said to come in today, despite not having time. So, now I can just wait until it is time to go. But sleeping this night was very hard, between the difficulties of falling asleep, staying asleep, nightmares, hearing her bump into stuff with her plastic cone and both cats being upset about not getting food. Because I am always so worried that it might be something more serious.

LONG POST ALERT
Spoiler:
Today we had logic class. (Stuff about inferring conclusions, like they give 'The cat tears the arm off of people who take its food. You were not a person who took its food. So you infer the last statement and it ends up like this:
All people who tok the cat's food are people whose arm has been torn off.
No you are people whose arm has been torn off.
Therefore, No you are people who took the cat's food.)

Anyway, my actual teacher went to a doctor's appointment and the headmaster took over. The thing is, she taught entirely differently, so I randomly spaced out and was asked a question. I asked her to repeat and she shook her head. Also, one of my other classmates forgot what a categorical statement was.
Then catastrophe struck for me after lunch.

During Literature the headmaster came in and specifically addressed people who had no idea what was going on in logic class (including me). Then we were told about us all having 'deer in the headlight looks'. She said only a couple of people actually looked like they knew what they were doing (They are very smart, so I don't doubt that they did. Still, we could've all just pretended to get it XD)

During PE, we ran around the baseball field as hard and as fast as we could in a relay. The headmaster came over, told some students to take off their sweaters, told us we couldn't do any more sports, and that we had to do all ten of our exercise ten to twenty times each. My legs hurt all week, so after that they felt like they'd died.

My brother as well as his friends are all graduating this year. So our entire class was invited. I love the songs, too! We were all excited and happy. That is, until the headmaster came in and saw we had them. She then took them away (giving two to my two friends. They were the only ones allowed the join the choir.) and said she couldn't trust us anymore (This sentence really ruined my day. She said it about three times.). So we had to do the right thing (Ace the logic test and learn all the songs even if we weren't in the choir) and left. So then I started crying. So now I sound like a baby. But there were five reasons I really wanted to be in that choir and thus cried.
1. I love singing. I sing Detective Conan openings/endings all the time. My classmates think I'm annoying, singing those all the time. But I don't care too much.
2. I'm a crybaby.
3. I really, really loved those songs. But I have no reason in my head to continue liking those songs.
4. These fours events made me both embarrassed that this was partly my fault and really, really sad.
5. It's not just my brother who's graduating; it's all my friends. My somewhat crush and my best friend. And then the people I hug. The people in that class really know me.

So I'll probably go with the other girls tomorrow to the office to ask for them. We'll probably only receive them once we do the right thing, though. I cried all the way home. My dad sort of rubbed it all in my face. Such a supportive dad. T_T My brother stroked my head like you would a cat. Yes, my closest friends do that. It really feels nice. :3
Time to study hard for that logic test!

I talked to the teacher and she had a talk with the students involved, so I'm pretty happy with myself, I didn't want to let that kid think he was alone and that no-one could help him. :D

The surgery seemed to have gone fine, so it should be alright :) *hugs*
I'm sure it'll be fine and I'm sure she'll be used to the cone soon, though it'll be hard petting her next weekend when I come

In my opinion it IS a good idea. I hate bullies. Maybe I am wrong, but in my opinion if somebody was a bully to others (I mean, really a bully, not just occasional mild teasing) as a child, they will never be really good people even when they are grown up. There will always be something rotten in their personality imo.

The son of a friend of mine got a fracture on his arm when thrown on the ground by a bully.

KainTheVampire, I am really sorry for your dog, I am always extremely sad when animals die. While humans may be either good or bad people, animals are all innocent creatures that never deserve to suffer. I have recently lost my cat to old age (20 years). He was like a brother to me.

If a kid is bullying another kid, there is something wrong in the bully's life as well and putting them down and telling them that they'll never amount to anything will not help, and it encourages a toxic mindset in the victim as well.

Instead, focus on the victim. The important thing is that THEY have done nothing to deserve it. THEY are not ugly, or stupid, or whatever else the bully is calling them. Repeat it and reinforce it. Get them to focus on what they are good at and what they like, and help them find safe spaces where the bully can't get to them.

And get someone to talk to the bully, as well. Find out why they think it's okay to treat another child like that. Teach them that it isn't. Telling the bully that they are the stupid or useless one helps nobody because it just makes you a bully too and, frankly, most of the time they're already hearing that on a regular basis.

I hate bullies, I was bullied a lot at school myself, but most of the kids bullying me were pretty badly screwed up themselves and took out their issues on an easy target. It's very rare for kids to act like that without having serious, unaddressed issues, and if you can address them in childhood, there's a much better chance that they can fix themselves by adulthood.

^ This is why I really need to be objective with these things, although, my bullies were just bullies with me because I was just a bit more intelligent than they were, and they didn't like the attention I got from adults. I'll work it out, at some point, because as vindictive as I like to be, this isn't the right mindset to be in when you want to teach ::)

I'm sure you'll be much better at dealing with bullies because you have experience with them. For me, the worst teachers were the ones who always told off bullying victims for lying about their classmates without investigating if they were lying or not, because they didn't want to bother with dealing with the bullying. I'm sure to them it seems like a transient thing, since after a couple years you'll be out of school and away from your bullies, but they just don't respect the fact that for a kid being bullied it's an everyday reality and those years until graduating are a hell of a lot longer.
