Hehe, indeed we played more or less the same game. Except the Medium (she seems to be the busiest role in the game) and the Little Girl. Indeed it's a nice game, and even its forum version is great too!
MoonRaven wrote:-Lovers(die together, oh the irony whent he werewolves kill a town lover while the other one is a wolf)
That reminds me of a certain game of mine. I played it a long time ago, and since then the other lover player always tries to kill me and persuade the other players to kill me. Even if he's not playing that particular game. To think that game I'm talking about was the game #7, and we yesterday finished game the #44.

I was the Seer, and the other player, my lover, was the Werewolf. Normally if the Lovers are the only players alive, they win the game. But I felt that I must be loyal to the Town, and while I didn't want to directly commit suicide, I tried to create a situation in which a randomizer (we call it the "Randomizer of DEATH") would decide who's going to die. In the meantime I also sent some love letters to my lover to enrage him.

Finally we won, but it was a though game for everybody. Especially that he announced the second day that he's in love with me and throughout the entire game he (the Werewolf (sic!)) tried to keep us alive, while I the Seer tried to kill us, on the eyes of the entire village.
My dad’s a soldier blue I’ll be a soldier, too
When I grow older you will see me rescue you
I’ll teach you this old song so you can sing along
When I am dead and gone the day won’t be so long.

Miyano and I were hoping to do the next one, actually. 'Course, we were just hoping to get ours in before August, so maybe if yours starts relatively soon? :x

When I was playing this round of Mafia I began thinking of introducing Tabula Rasa to the rest of DCTPers. I still need to think about it.

The thing inthe lovers example is that when we played it face to face, the wolf who was the other lover tried to mime to his allies not to kill the other one. They ignored him. The decisions were made by pointing the player getting killed.

No need to introduce it to us, I actually have the werewolves card game at home :P. I think most players have heard of it as well, plus the formula is popular. Nowadays you even have town of Salem that works the same but has the werewolves replaced by the mafia as well.

I was thinking about introducing it as a forum version somehow. I love the idea of not knowing the killed persons allegiance(Erase, erase, erase) and keeping the discussions in the thread(like in Espionage). But maybe a third gave of this sort is too much...

Nah, we've tried Diplomacy and Espionage so I don't think there's a problem with trialling new stuff. It's just that the Werewolf thing is basically a Mafia setup anyway and so would probably be better to run as such.

When are you planning to do it? I was hoping to start ours in the last week of June, and it'll be an anon round. (Also I'm the busier person compared to Rai :x)
