I was watching conan today, and I was wondering if the Anime skipped the Sato and takagi case where he thinks she is pregnant and she turns not to be and only missing her red badge,
or is it just me lost between what manga file are we in, I wanted to ask.
Sorry for the trouble !

They adapt the manga cases out of order sometimes, so if it hasn't happened yet in the anime it probably will eventually (too lazy to check what chapters we're in atm so please excuse the general reply xD )kkuuddoo wrote:I was watching conan today, and I was wondering if the Anime skipped the Sato and takagi case where he thinks she is pregnant and she turns not to be and only missing her red badge,

The red badge case is from Vol 82. The anime only reach Vol 81. They will make it sooner or later
And also what Ekoyuhale said is true.

I just re-watched the "Code For Star And Cigarette" case (ep. 374-375) and there's one thing I can't understand - what was the reason the 2nd victim left one more cigarette? Earlier, it was said that six cigarettes made up the culprit's name. Later, Conan said that "he left one more cigarette to make it easier to know"... but how? I don't understand how does this make it easier to know?! Can anyone explain, please?

I read recently the Ryoma Heist. Conan says there that Yukiko was born in Tosa. But in the Similar Prinsesses case he says that she isn't from Tosa, just played a role thus can speak witht he dialect.
This confuses me...

From what I can gather, the 7-part clue is done in a way that they can catch clue easier than the 6-part because the first victim never saw the culprits name on paper.Adel34 wrote:Really? I still don't get it... The 6-cigarette clue symbolizes the culprit's name using the simpler kanji, and the 7-cigarette clue symbolizes... yeah, what does it symbolize? The actual, more difficult kanji in the culprit's name has more strokes than 7. So... what does the 7-cigarette "clue" mean?k11chi wrote:

It doesn't really try to symbolize anything... the other dude did not read the name from anywhere and just used his spider-senses, thought it had the "simpler" kanji there and used that amount of cigarette pieces. The other saw how it was written down (it's "rare"), hence making it easier when one more piece with the right length is added into the mix.Adel34 wrote:I still don't get it... Ok seriously what was with that one case where Conan let someone go for trying to murder their wife just because it was a misunderstanding?
Like...WTF? I need an answer to that.

Depends on what you want to hear. The dude misunderstood everything and the point of the case was to show that Haibara is a bit less sympathetic than Conan when it comes to situations like that I guess...kkslider5552000 wrote:Ok seriously what was with that one case where Conan let someone go for trying to murder their wife just because it was a misunderstanding?

Yeah that case really shocked me as well, but I guess Conan respected the wife's choice to forgive her husband, and he thought about the baby's wellbeing too.And as k11chi said that case showed that Ai doesn't forgive easily,so it may be a hint for the future files.
